(Canyon lake's water is much cooler than Saguaros). Nathans may or may not be wet suit legal, but just in case it is, it would be nice to get a swim under my belt in the WS since it has been so long. And, I'm pretty sure I'll make it this week, so my yak will there too. Not sure of distance, but do you all usually swim in the area that is motor-restricted? That sure makes it nice - no waves and no motors. |

They allowed people to wear their wetsuits at the SnD on Saturday, it was a USAT event and the water was 83 degrees. I'm not sure what that means for Nathan's. I was going to rent a wet suit for the sprint but I think I'm going to go without it now. |

I have spent most of this year without the pullbouy and suit - but my form still sucks and any aid to flotation is appreciated! I am out for OWS this week as I am finally grabbing the sack and doing a drop in at a Masters swim so I can be ridiculed and humiliated by a different crowd of on-lookers. However, I should be out the following week and BJC is always easier for me! |
