Pro 3715     AZ |  Subject: ESCKTC OWS/RUN/DRINK Brickapalooza II 2008Since the old thread is like on page 208 now, it's time to create a new thread. Be sure to turn on the thread notification so you can get all the latest and greatest updates. What: Open Water Swim followed by a Run followed hopefully by BEER! Where: Butcher Jones Cove (Click here for directions and map) http://web.mac.com/j.donahue/ESCKTC/Swim.htmlWhen: 2008 Inaugural outing begins on April 3, 2008 at 5:30Frequency: Every Thursday night until we sayBe there or be square! We all meet up for an OWS, then a quick transition into running gear for a run up BJC road and back. Then, if we have suckered any newbies into bringing beer, or if Fitzy is feeling kind enough to visit the bone yard and bring us some stragglers, we all stand around and drink beer and talk as the bats and bugs dive bomb our heads. Sounds like fun, right???? Anyone is welcome to join us, so come on down!!! |

VERY doable and actually enjoyable once you're swimming. Without a wetsuit: Nope! If you have a high cold tolerance and are a strong swimmer, I'd say next week would be doable. If you're missing one of the above 2 qualities, you should be just fine in 2 weeks.
