When you go for your maximum to see what level you should work at, what speed do you do? I've been going fast, then slower when my muscles start to fail. By fast I'd say a 1 push-up per 1.5 sec or so for about 25-35 then really slow after that...should I go for a slower pace? I think I may be burning my muscles out going that fast to start
This is advice from a friend, as I can't do any yet. He says he always does them slow and deliberate, concentrate and feeling each muscle contract, etc. Gotta say, he's got the best guns I know, and all he does and pushups every morning. |
