Bike crash Sunday. Broken collarbone, fractured ribs, road rash....ouch! done for a while

But seriously. I was asked to show up early to work today (AGAIN) because we are hosting a customer, going to give him a tour and what not with our staff. I get here on-time and NO ONE IS HERE. Text my bosses asking if the meeting was moved. Yes, it was delayed. No one bothered to tell me. Few things irritate me more than being asked to bust my bum to get somewhere early and the event being changed without me knowing.  

Then yesterday, after being here 9 hours I leave (because I was here at the butt crack of dawn) and my boss looks at me all surprised that I'm leaving. HELLO I am not eligible for overtime and I've worked 9 hours with no lunch and no breaks! I think I can leave.

Was riding the course for my race this coming weekend and my rear skewer came loose on a downhill. I felt the rear wheel wash out and knew I was going down. Funny how life stands still for a split second. Could have been worse I suppose. But hey, I got an ambulance ride and was seen right away in the ER. I am so feaking sore right now. My Garmin had me at 25 when I hit the pavement. Bike seems ok at least.

Good to hear the bike is OK. 

I always wanted to get to ride in an ambulance, I always wind up driving myself to the hospital.

Heal quickly!!  In the meantime, take good drugs.

Just left my son at the security checkpoint at the airport.  He should be able to get on a plane by himself... Right????

Back to the daily grind after my awesome trip to A2 Wind Tunnel Yesterday.

I'm sure he'll be fine.  What's the worse that can happen?  It's not like they'll let him fly the airplane.

It's a good thing my son is 15 then.  :p

but I did give him 10 bucks for junk for the flight.

Yeah I know but still!!!  I can just see him screwing around at the newsstand (thanks Dave) and missing his flight or something.  Last year they pulled him out at the security checkpoint and searched his bag cause he had a jar of Nutella in there.
