The walking desk worked just fine. When I had to do something that I couldn't walk for, I just stood on the rails or shut it off and stood. I'll post a pic. I is an incredibly simple design.

Good Morning!  What are you and the kids up to today?

I think today is one of the few quiet days we have. I need to run 3.5 miles, and I've started doing the Nike+ trainer on the xbox. No one has any practices though, so I suspect there will be basketball in the driveway.

I have to go in a few minutes to finish preparing for a class that I am leading tomorrow.  Bible study group.

I am working from 10 to 6 today which is pretty good since the last couple of days were very slow.  On the upside, my taxes are filed and paid.  I always have to pay, being self-employed.

I need to do a workout today, but it may just be aerobics at home tonight while dinner is cooking.  Possibly leg strength training at work.  It depends on my break.

Having to pay your own taxes would be no fun. Not that we get to splurge on something with our refund, we just use it to pay the spring taxes, and put the rest towards the fall.

It is supposed to be 85 again her today so my run will be on the treadmill. I'm not ready for that kind of heat yet.

Hey Ghoulies.

I got to measure myself today surreptitiously at the factory I was at. I am the same across my waist from side to side as front to back. Gotta get serious on getting this pooch gone. (There were large calipers there to measure the giant rolls of film they make-think carpet roll sized. No one was around so I used them).

I'll be on the road tomorrow. Gotta teach a training course. We have five of them this year, one each week for the next, you guessed it, five weeks.

I'll be back on Friday to chat.

Today was full of meetings.  3 hour morning meeting, two meetings this afternoon, write up a branch memo, now working the evening and the phones.

Tomorrow will be more fun.  Getting the hair done.  trying to decide if I cut it or keep growing it.  Then lunch with friends.  Then work on packing.

Saturday fun day, dinner out with son and his girl.

Sunday - VACATION!!!  Going to Edisto Island, SC for some REST!  I am so ready.  Taking the bicycles to ride around the island.  WOOT!  I already have vacation mind.  WOOT!  (can you tell I'm happy?)

Yay Kendra! Mike and I were just talking about vacations. Key West in particular. *sigh*. tell me more about your vacation. I will have to live vicariously through you for now.

Robin--I love that you were playing with the calipers! I can totally see that! LOL

Got a call at 9 last night that I had a switch down. We were expecting the replacement between 12 and 1. The boss said we could wait until I got in at 5 to replace it, so I've been busting my a$$ this morning to get it done before the workforce gets in. Almost done.

We all got haircuts last night. Mine is super short! My daughter got 10" cut off and donated it to Pantene Beautiful Lengths. They give their wigs away as opposed to Locks of Love who sells them. The boy got a nice short summer cut, too.

Ran 14.1 miles today. Tested out a 9:1 run/walk strategy that coach mike wants me to experiment with prior to IM. Figures since I will like need to have some walk time we might as well be in control of when the walking is. Not too bad overall. More or less hit a 9-915min/mi. So was over a mile for every 10min period.
