Hi Kendra. How long of a drive is it for you from Georgia to NC?

I didn't think Ninjas needed  much sleep. Which is why I am not a ninja. Love me some sleep.

Sounds like a nice plan for the holidays Kendra.

I have another week, at least, of PT.  I am back at work now, except when I have to take a pain med, then I am off for the day. I have burned up a lot of my leave. Hopefully next week I won't have to take off as much. Then comes Christmas week and most of that is vacation!!!

 Ann, How did that wrapping look? I think those bags have your name all over them.

I'm going to spend the next 11 months stocking up on the gift bags.

I need my ninja sleep!

This morning Caleb heard me up around 3:00, he never really got back to sleep after that. I can't be waking up the kiddos, especially THAT early. He had 2 basketball practices last night, got to bed late, and has a scrimmage today. He needs HIS sleep.

I'm usually big on the 'you ride to the game with the team, you ride home from the game with the team' but today I will let him ride home with me so he will get home earlier to get some rest and do any homework he has.

SOOOOOO....

Last night when Caleb got home from his first basketball practice he shuffled me back to the office and shut the door. He told me that Mr. Stock, his home room, and language arts teacher has been out since before Thanksgiving break, and there are rumors flying around the school that he was arrested for getting some high school kids high on marijuana and then molesting them. I told him to not spread rumors, and that if something like that happened it would be all over the news, and I hadn't seen anything. We talked about the good touch/bad touch thing, and I told him he could always come to me, and all that stuff. I don't know what's going on but I hope the rumors are not true.

Practicality trumps rules sometimes. I am going to start doing some yoga before bedtime, just a little to relax and have a "sleep time routine'.

Last year when Caleb played football there were games that half the team or more would go home with mom or dad. The kids left on the bus were responsible for not only their equipment, but for at least 1 if not 2 other player's equipment to get it off the bus and hung back up in the equipment room. I know with basketball there is no equipment like in football, but still. You're part of a team, so BE part of that team.

But I will make the exception tonight.

I hope and pray that it is just a rumor.  I am really glad your kids don't have a problem talking with you on these types of issues. Having your kids trust you is way more than half the battle.

Happy FFFFriday!!!

So last night Keri asked me for 4 ponies, and a dragon for Christmas. I'm thinking it won't end well for the ponies if they're living in the barn with the dragon. It may not end well for the barn either.

Last night Caleb said kids were saying it was in the local paper, and the trial was yesterday. I told him that his grandparents read the paper from front to back and they'd have said something if they read it, because he is one of their grandson's best friends. Plus, if he were just arrested he wouldn't be going to trial already. I called the grandparents and they hadn't seen anything in the paper. I was talking to Donnie about it and he said he's a big hunter, it is deer season here, he may just be out hunting. I'm still thinking the story is a HUGE exaggeration of the actual facts.

I have a good friend on the school board, I could say something to her. She would know who to go to at the school.

I wonder if he is full grown.

Good Morning!  Yeah for Friday!

I am bundled in a blanket with little dog on my lap.  It is in the 20s here.  Brrr!   But it is dry so the roads aren't bad.
