It hurt more to use the walk motion than it did to 'run' motion. I wanted to walk but I couldn't. I did the last 6 miles definitly in the 'run' high cadence turn over even though I was 'running next to walkers.. Is that what you are talking about Trixie Wixie?? |

When I got off the bike, I started with the 8/2 and held it through the first half of the marathon. From there it became 7/3, 6/2, 4/1, 3/2, 2/2 until the finish finally came. Biggest point there is, no matter what you decide to run/walk, DON'T JUST WALK! |

Extreme Veteran 488 ATLANTA | Subject: Bad Bike Weekend I went in to get my used (yet new to me) bike fitted for this season. When I bought it, I rode it for about 30 minutes and concluded that I could get it fit to work great. WRONG CONCLUSION! I went to get it fitted by Sport Factory in GA and the conclusion is, it cannot be done, especially with the lengthly legs. So now I am in the market for a new bike while looking to sell the other one (2004 Trek Equinox 11 carbon if anyone is interested). I am looking at the Felt B12, Specialized Transition Comp and maybe a Cervelo P2C. I am going to really research this and test ride to make sure that I am completely correct in my next purchase. Anyone have any thoughts? |
