Morning Nibbs!

My swim coach is back and he kicked my butt today by decreasing the intervals on sets of 25's...pretty close to puke factor for me by the time we got done...

Got my 4 miles in this morning but my PF is still killing me. I have been trying everything. It is getting better, but not fast enough. Hate wearing the boot at night. Freezing the foot. can't do that after the walk in the morning cause I'm rushing to get to work. Darm work, why does it have to get in the way of training.

I have nothing of substance to add to the conversation.

But I'm so happy my werk isn't teh suxxor anymore that I feel compelled to post occasionally to gloat. (Sorry Dee. Sorry Kendra. Sorry for everyone with crappy werk to do.)

I just have to teach my classes and wait for some journal to decide to publish my article. Can't do anything about the second, so I might was well goof around on BT. I've missed you all. (I've even missed some non-Nibbs - yes, it's true.)

Work is a lot slower for me this week, too.  It makes me very happy and I'm certainly not volunteering to do extra work right now.

So, is it sad that I am on vacation, but sitting here at my work computer.  Tried to boot up my CPU at home this morning, and after three hours decided it was time to take it to someone with more advanced computer knowledge than I.  I finally did get it to boot up, but as soon as I opened up an application... it froze!!  UGH!!!!

Good news is that bike is ready, bad news, they won't have time to fit me til tomorrow... Well, guess I'd better change and head down to the aerobics room for more time on the spin bike.

I hope it's cheap to fix, but not so easy as that I end up looking like an idiot for bringing it in.

UGH!!! Update on my CPU... Hard drive (hmmm... )  $80 part... total $230.  Well, better than the $1600 laptop I want.  Hubby thinks I can still get my laptop in August.  At least I'll have my computer back by tomorrow afternoon.  Not that it'll matter, b/c I hope to be on my BIKE!!!

Well, better get home.

I ducked out of my bunco group tonight. I'll be at a bike fit workshop.(?Tutorial? no actual getting on the bike, just a workshop put on by a FIST certified bike fitter). I am sick, so I played that card. It hurts to talk, so there will be very little of that at the bike thing, compared with the bunco night with the girls.

So is Heather the only Nibbs in SLC that gets to go to coffee after the mary/half mary in April?? Hmmm?

Why are flights so expensive?  It's crazy!  Especially considering how much the airlines suck.

Hear, hear! You speaketh the truth!

We were trying to fly to MI to chill with the in-laws and so I could run a cool 25K race, but noooooo, the airfare was outrageous.

Where were you hoping to go?
