Nicole: Do you wear thick socks or do anything different to keep your feet warm? I don't mind the cold, but my feet really froze the other day - probably 37 degrees or so. Yeah Nicole what is it that is proper...My feet always are cold!!!! SHUCKS, I just sent my brother my battery controlled sox or I would have sent them to you... I may find another pair in my dhs closet...but that will not be til next weeks cleaning. FYI - When we used to mtn bike in the snow, we would put baggies on the tips of our feet just over our socks and then put our shoes on...and it worked pretty good, but now all the bike shops have the nylon type booties that you slip on over you shoe or the ones that fit on the tip of your toes and has a hole for clipless pedals...i just got my dh and dd some for xmas since they commute a lot and both have raved about how much warmer their feet are... not sure if they will keep them balmy and toasty, but help to keep the cold air off...they do have lots of nice warm sox too with wicking so they do not get damp... |
