It's subtle.  Plus, I feel like this while carrying a taser would be pretty scary.

Good morning, evil team.

Only managed to get part of yesterday's run done. I had hoped for about 6 miles, ended up with less than 3. Lightening chased us back inside. It was my group run night, so even though inside had a treadmill I could use, I opted for tacos, chips, and beer instead.

Yes. I am a loser.

Another little run tonight when I get off the bike.

But, the big one's coming on Sunday. 12+ miles.

Yee-haw.

I think.

Another great EVIL avatar....

you are so NOT a loser!

Good that you know when to recognize the need for new shoes. Now, the trick is to identify the need just a bit earlier...

Good luck - do some exercises for those shin splints - lay a towel flat on the floor, and crunch it up just using your toes. Can you tell I've had these before?

I went ahead and loaded my 40 mile goal for the month, sorry I an sooo late! I also posted my run from today, but it's not computing in the spreadsheet...

Maybe there is something Dee needs to do to make it work?!

There is.

I deleted the calculation yesterday when I did the update. (Because the team average won't calculate if someone hasn't entered their goal.)

Edited to add --> Hm. I'm trying to view this from work, and it won't let me access the spreadsheet. (Dumb work computer.) I'll fix this tonight after I get home....

I went in and added the formula since you couldn't get to it from work, Dee.  It should be good to go now.

^^^That's a great rehab exercise. I also found that trying to land on my foot/forefoot more rather than my heels also helped a lot.  Much less trauma/force into my legs with each foot strike.  Looks like its shopping time!

Gotta use the gale force winds to your advantage. Keep 'em at your back and do a timed run. Getting back though, is another story.

Had a great day with my son.  He had a dr appt so we spent the entire day together.  It was really nice.  Exhausting but nice.  We left the house at 9:30 and got home at 3:00.  He promptly went to his room and took a nap.  Yup, that's my boy!

Good afternoon/evening, fellow Reapers!  It's been a pretty quiet day for me, thankfully, which is pretty amazing given three people in my department are out of the office today.  Normally it's days like this when all hell breaks loose.  LOL

Since it was such a pretty day here, I headed out on my lunch hour and walked two laps around the outer perimeter of the parking lot.  Per my GPS, that's 1.01 miles which works out pretty nicely.

Hope everyone is having a nice hump day! Cool

Good morning team.

This is tough...just when I think I'm getting some distance ahead of pace, I look at the % of the month that's done, and I'm just barely there. I'm taking a couple days off to rest the weary legs, so I'm going to fall behind. I better nail my long run this weekend.

x2. I do a run and think, "Great! Now I'll be ahead of schedule." Then I go to log it and find out that I'm NOT ahead of schedule.

I got home tonight, and went to do the update before I forgot. I sat there looking at the spreadsheet, thinking "Huh? Someone must have fixed it."

Yep, I should have come here before going to Google.
