deehtz - 2012-04-04 8:32 PM Felt good thru the morning.  Tried a light workout at lunch and then ate lightly.  Felt okay at first, but as the afternoon progressed, stomach hurts again and I am soooo tired.  Oh the joy! Undecided

Well that's no good.

Good morning Ghoulies!

Not a good situation here at work right now. My boss wants the new guy gone, I agree with him, but someone has been reporting back to the boss, and it isn't me, but the people here think that it is. Only me and the new guy have our boss, the other people work for different people, but our boss hears stuff, then he calls this guy on it. I try to stay out of office politics, and I don't get paid enough to babysit, unfortunately perception is reality.

I'm hoping he's gone soon, and we can all move on.

So sorry to hear about the office politics crap.  It's too bad people don't notice that the guy who is abusing the system is hurting everyone else.  He needs to be gone so that he can stop polluting the office environment.  In the long run, most people will see the stand up person that you are.

Feel better.  Take your time getting back into the swing of things.  Rushing can set you back.

I'm getting better at my runs.  The person that I am running with in the morning is slower, so I am weaving all over the road trying to keep her at least near me.  If I zoom into the runkeeper map, I look like a drunk.

Guess I need to start adding bike and swim into the mix.

My family is coming to my house for lunch on Sunday. I am SO not ready. I am getting groceries on my way home from work today, I only need to work until 12:30 to have my hours in. We will be away for a little bit tonight, and on the run most of the day tomorrow. I do not see any sleep in my future.

Morning Ghoulies.

I have been in a semi-funk for the last couple of days. My co-workers were worse than normal, even the women types were gossipy and insufferable. It got to me more than usual.

I had yesterday off and I did retail therapy buying plants after I got my car serviced. Today is a day off and I am going to plant more seeds and do some chores around here. That should help the mood out.

HAPPY FFF Friday to all of you.

Enlist the family to help. At least the kiddos.  Speaking of kiddos, how is your little girl? Better?

My BIL is showing up tonight and the son and his girlfriend are coming but I am over doing any prep for them. They wouldn't notice if we started using the back room as a compost pile. I'll just cook some good food and everyone will be happy. (Or at least act that way in front of me)!

Happy FFFFriday Ghoulies!

Robin - sorry about the co-workers.  Yeah for plant retail therapy and days off.

Anne - Sleep is necessary.  Get the rest of the family to help out, even the puppies.  In fact, put family members in charge of puppies & horses as they arrive and they will be too busy to notice anything else around the house.

I don't know yet if I will be driving up to Asheville or not on Saturday afternoon.  It would be a quick visit, but with the price of gas, aarrgh!  And if my dad is driving to Florida in a couple of days, they can drive through Atlanta and save us the trip to Asheville.  Hopefully I will know later this afternoon.  I really need to spend more time in the yard on Saturday to finish with the front yard, and then start working some on the backyard.

Easter is not very bloomy this year.  All the azaleas bloomed early and are already dying.

Good Morning.  I am so glad it is Friday.  I have a long day at work but that is okay.  I doubt that a workout will happen today, but I really need to run tomorrow to stick with the mileage for my 10k.  But it will be a slooow 6 miles what with not running for almost 2 weeks.  I don't know if I will actually get in the whole distance.  I'll just see how it goes.

Robin, enjoy your seed gardening!  What all are you starting?

Ann, get done what must be done and let the rest go!  People understand more than we give them credit for.  And if they don't, then it is their problem.

Kendra, sounds like you are really getting after the workouts!  Good job!  Enjoy your rest day!

We are going to Easter lunch at my step-daughter's place.  But she and her family live with her mother (my husband's ex) and grandmother.  Her mom has a lot of extended family, so they will all be there.  Everything is always civil and I will have a mildly good time, but it still seems a little odd.

Oh well, it was nice of them to invite us and it is great for DH to get to spend time with his daughter and grand-daughter.

I hear you on wanting to (needing to) spend more time in the yard. One time when you come to A'ville, we need to meet up.

That is great that you can get along. We do the same for my step son and daughter. We all play nice when there are gatherings where we are all together.

Mostly veggies and a few flowers like some sun flowers and moon flower (Just noticed I have a fixation on heavenly flowers )

If I had room, I would start a bunch more.

I am moving slow today. I am still somewhat bummed from the work week. I need to get my happy on!

It makes me happy when people can "play nice" with their ex's and families.  My parents always played nice around us, but I remember after every visit of my fathers, my mother would be in tears.  Needless to say, she really never moved onto another relationship.  I don't know what it is about my father that draws in the women.  He is 84 years old and has a girlfriend.  He lives outside of Asheville, and she lives in Oregon.  They have been busy flying back and forth across the country.  My mother was his first wife, and he had two more, and since the last wife, he has had two serious girlfriends.  Just call him a Casanova.

Your Dad sounds like quite the Romeo! It really makes it easier on the kids for the parents to act like the adults they profess to be.
