Thinking of taking the wife back to Campus and showing her the church. It's sort of a big deal/impressive. Surely you have been to Valpo to see it, no?
Surprisingly enough... I have never been to Valpo... I know, shame on me. I keep thinking about going there for their liturgical institute in the spring... but have never. |

Love the Mavics Mercy buckets. Those are a little more than I want to spend, but I may do it anyway. heretic. Velocity rims are the schnizzle. Strong as anything. They OEM for numerous others. You should see what I do to my cross whells and they keep on coming back for more. I built a matched set of tubulars and clinchers for racing and training so I don't have to re-align brake pads. |

I built a matched set of tubulars and clinchers for racing and training so I don't have to re-align brake pads. I know, but they're hefty hefty hefty. I have a set fo Deep-Vs built to Zipp hubs on my roadie. I could probably mount CX tires on them and go bombing and they would laugh at me. I also had a set of Mavic 217s on XT hubs that I didn't have to true for almost 15 years until I taco'd one a couple years ago. So, Mavic's upper-level rims have their value too. |

Love the Mavics Everything about MTBing is expensive comparied to road. It was sort of a wash for me. I had them salvage my XT hubs from the stock set I bent so saved the cost of that, but paid the cost for hand built. It was several years ago, but still cost me about 300 for the set. Not TOO bad. I think I got the Velocity Blunts for $150? What's cool about them, is they were white rims (and they have other colors) so sort of added a little "bling" to the bike and matched my white saddle and bars. Great set but not as fast as the Mavics. The rims are just hanging up now. I often think I should buy the disks and tires and have two sets I can swap. But that's another $200 investment for no reason other than to have two sets. And NOW, they don't do the 6 bold disks anymore and just do the center bolt. Good thing they sell adaptors so I can get my old hubs to work with the new disks. Edited by Kido 2012-09-11 12:58 PM |

I had two hard boiled eggs for breakfast. How come some are super easy to peel, and others stick and tear up the egg? I heard it's the freshness of the egg, but if I got them both from the same carton????? Can't explain it. |

It's starting to get annoying. Not your post, but how every new chef on TV is trying to be cute with their ooey gooey layer of cheesy goodness lines... And the one over the top? Nadia G's bitchen kitchen... It gives me goosbumps at how embarrassing it is. And I don't like Giada "big head" De Laurentis either. Nice rack though...

I think it has to do with the lining (sac) inside whether or not it is kept intact durring the cooking/cooling process. |

I have given up on achieving the perfect hard boiled eggs... they are sneaky, uncooperative, and simply mock my efforts at achieving a peal able one.
