I think you are right. My husband and i had a revelation about that few years ago.. Now we go out of our way to make life as pleasant as we can for each other. As long as it is, overall, a two way street, small tokens of service and kindness go a long way.

Another one I practiced this morning is.. Keep the mouth pretty much shut when in a bad mood.
I had a great ride in the ~40 degree air this morning.
I also just mapped-out my ride from our new house that we're building to the office. My new ride come the summer will be 25 miles each way!!! Now that's a commute!

But yes staying quiet is often a good idea when cranky.

Aw, thanks yeah ... I'll see if it's glue-able and if not, will pull some kind of derring-do to get the same saddle brought over from Singapore (I know who has 'em!) or hopefully it might be available in NZ.
