Then I need to go get a quick shower, probably dressed, and head out. I'm having an MRI and arthogram (sp) on my shoulder today. Fun times. I'll check back in this afternoon. |

Tested out a 9:1 run/walk strategy that coach mike wants me to experiment with prior to IM. Figures since I will like need to have some walk time we might as well be in control of when the walking is. Not too bad overall. More or less hit a 9-915min/mi. So was over a mile for every 10min period. HI ANN! I'm tired. Bedtime. Exam for advanced cardiac life support tomorrow. Grad photos in the pm. Nice job on the run! You still have exams? |

Champion 16743 Somewhere I can be nekidd | Subject: RE: Ghoulies Springing into action After working out for 10 days straight I took yesterday off. I got home around 6:15 last night, I had the house to myself, and I was tired. I needed the rest. I've been doing a Hal Higdon 30 week marathon plan. It's basically a spring training plan to get you running, combined with a marathon training plan. I've also started doing the Nike+ Kinect Trainer on the XBox. That is KICK AZZ! There are 3 programs to chose from, and I'm doing the get lean. It's a lot of cardio, and some strength. I am working my core like never before. I hurt a lot, but it's the good kind of hurt. You know... the one where you know you worked hard because your muscles are sore. I do that 5 days a week. I take Tuesdays and Thursdays off, since those are our busiest nights because both kids have to be at a practice somewhere. I can run while they're at practice, or this week I did it before they got home, but I can't do XBox every day. I'm trying to do some strength training, too, but until I get my shoulder fixed I'm kind of limited. I'll do the 1.5 mile run I was supposed to do yesterday later this afternoon. |

That is a lot of working out! No wonder you needed a rest. Good for you for listening to your body, but then getting right back in it. Does the HH plan have rest days built in? |

Got any great plans for the weekend? Amy, sorry I missed you..... go run! Melindy, you still amaze me with your training and your work and education schedule and all. You make me feel really slack. Good luck on the test. Ann, hope you feel good and can play this weekend. Lots of yard work on the agendy for me this weekend. If it rains, I have lots of indoor stuff to catch up on. |

Champion 16743 Somewhere I can be nekidd | Subject: RE: Ghoulies Springing into action Good morning Ghoulies! I fell asleep before 9 last night, and woke up after 7 this morning. I couldn't tell you the last time that happened. Today is run around like a crazy lady. Keri has softball practice from 10-12, then Caleb has soccer practice from 1-4. I also have someone coming over this afternoon to look at my motorcycle. If he doesn't buy it I received 3 other emails last night from interested people. Motorcycle money is going to fix the 4-wheelers and a down payment for a new vehicle for me. The fun never stops. |

V/r Ann, and family Dear everyone else, Come play with us! V/r Ann Dear Ann, The house is yours. (I never undid the "reservation') I figured I would come and kidnap the whole family if I had to. Sneakily, Robin Dear Kendra, Please come, too. We should have room in the house if you want to stay here. We can give you a deal on a cabin, but we aren't at the point yet we can comp it totally. Let me know. It would be a GHOULIE PILE!! Beggingly, Robin Dear Ghoulies, Did you hear Ghoulie Pile in August at Robin's? Same deal as Kendra for the cabins. We have couches, too. Pleadingly Robin |

Being allergic to iodine sucks, but if it gives them better test results then I'll suck it up. |

I am off to the doctors, allergist and swimming, in reverse order. I'll pop back in later. It is a rainy, chilly day here so no yard work today. Got lots of indoor chores to do before I hit the road for the rest of the week. Job interview, teaching miscreants and two meetings. Then home for a day and then off to near Charleston for a wedding over the weekend. Sheesh... I had better do some laundry, too! |
