Darn! With a little notice I would have told them to pick up an inner tube before going. If you have to buy one there for the lazy river it's $26. They could always drive to a local Walmart if they've got a rental car, though.

Pricing on meals and the hotel was decent other than in-room alcohol bottles. I took a picture of the guide book...the cheapest thing was $150 for a bottle of Bacardi rum. Most expensive was Louis XIII congnac for $4200 a bottle. Everything else was inbetween. Funny since you could go downstairs and across the street to the liquor store in 15 minutes.

Bike ride in this morning. Gotta get a strength session in tonight as I'm way behind on those. Moved the swim to tomorrow as I couldn't get out of work early enough at lunch before pool closing.

I am going to make all my goals this month.  I have about 3 more workouts I need to hit and they will be finished off.  However I wont be doing them till the end of the month.

I'm headed off on a 126 km canoeing trip tomorrow and will be gone for about 7 days.  Good luck to everyone finishing off their goals and I'll check in when I get back.

I'm trying to figure what happened.  I lost my watch and had to use a stop watch to time my run. I left the stop watch in my mail box while running. After running 3.1 miles I checked my time and it was 36 minutes. I ran the final two miles in 11.86 minutes, averaging less than 6 minutes a mile. Normally I would be happy but considering my fastest timed run was 2 miles in 18 minutes. 

The options are:
1) I'm in a lot better shape than I thought and have no idea how fast I can run
2) I am insane. My mind ran the entire loop but my body turned around half way.
3) I ran through a hole in Space Time
4) Alien Abduction. I don’t think I was probed!!
5) Someone walking on my deserted road took my stopwatch out of my mail box, hit stop button for 10 minutes then started time again and then disappeared.  Just to mess with me.  My road is really deserted.

I can’t decide which of the above is more plausible.

4 is the most obvious. or maybe magic electromagnetic forces that start and stop watches...... Hmmmm

It was light outside my window...

And something was banging around outside...

Cloud to Ground lightening and running don't mix...
