Expert 2555![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Colorado Springs, Colorado | Subject: RE: Crypt Keepers - Halloween Run ChallengeI'm glad some of you have nice weather to run in. The weather here sucked today. Cold, snowy, and high winds. I opted for the treadmill instead and got in 8 miles. I haven't been on the treadmill in over a year and it just seemed really hard to maintain a solid pace. It felt like I was working much harder to go slower than I would run outside. Oh well, got it done and the weather should be a little better for the next several days. |

OK, maybe you didn't run at exactly the same pace as me... but it wasn't your usual pace, this I know! Well, if you had turned down the air conditioning to...oh...let's say 21 degrees and had all the fans pointing in my direction to bring the windchill down to about 17, I would have run about the same pace as you...wait a minute...that could have been accomplished with just your small, cold and decidedly evil heart...nevermind... No more winter fall marathons (in Wisconsin)... |

You should have "slipped" and "accidentally" raised the incline to 12%, with a 15 mph pace. That would have gotten his attention. |

I haven't seen a treadmill go up to 15mph, or I would have tried that on someone else... |
