Ok so I am planning to finish my 40 miles up this weekend. If I go over my goal do we get extra points, cause I think that is only fair… Tongue out

I'm glad some of you have nice weather to run in. The weather here sucked today. Cold, snowy, and high winds. I opted for the treadmill instead and got in 8 miles. I haven't been on the treadmill in over a year and it just seemed really hard to maintain a solid pace. It felt like I was working much harder to go slower than I would run outside. Oh well, got it done and the weather should be a little better for the next several days.

MILA! Sal needs to do more hill repeats on the treadmill. (Make him puke next time.)

Trust me, this is the goal for next time!

Sal has experienced the joy that is the Woodway treadmill.  He ran at my pace... which was basically like a walk for him...

Had to slow my slog to a walk today.  Tis teh suxxor... however, be it known that it was sunny and 75 degrees in the ATL so it was awesome to get out of the house and enjoy the fall weather!

Were we on the same treadmill?  That would have been fun interesting...

Mila, can you put in a request to Woodway?  Tandem treadmill?

Yes, yes I can.  I feel certain they will get right on it!!!

OK, maybe you didn't run at exactly the same pace as me... but it wasn't your usual pace, this I know!

Well, if you had turned down the air conditioning to...oh...let's say 21 degrees and had all the fans pointing in my direction to bring the windchill down to about 17, I would have run about the same pace as you...wait a minute...that could have been accomplished with just your small, cold and decidedly evil heart...nevermind...

No more winter fall marathons (in Wisconsin)...

You should have "slipped" and "accidentally" raised the incline to 12%, with a 15 mph pace. That would have gotten his attention.

I haven't seen a treadmill go up to 15mph, or I would have tried that on someone else...
