Good morning Ghoulies!

Another cold rainy morning here.  But when I ran yesterday, it was in the mid & upper 40s and dry with the sun peeking out most of the time.  Great!!

Busy week for you, Robin! Since you will be traveling so much, I guess you won't get to use your "walking desk"  much this week.  How is that working out?

Hi Ann,

Did you sell your motorcycle yet?

No. The guy that was supposed to come on Saturday didn't get there until yesterday. He looked it over, and talked and talked, he told me he'd get back to me later in the day. He never did. I told my husband I wouldn't be surprised if he offered me less than what I was asking. I have several other people interested so I'm not going to take the first lowball offer I get.

Thanks. This is why I really don't like dealing with Craigslist, everyone wants something for nothing.

Hey Dee. I like it a lot. I get miles in instead of bum sitting. I have some perfecting to do but I'll be on the road a good bit the next 3 weeks so it won't happen then.

Like a lot of people I've been following what's going on in Boston today. All the JUJU I have has been sent. What happened sickens me.

What broke my heart though was seeing my 13 year old son post a link to it with the words "I have nothing to say." Kids shouldn't have to read or hear about things like this, they should be outside getting dirty, with their only concern their spelling test on Friday.

My MIL just told me I'm stupid if I go to DC and run the MCM. Not only will I run, but I will spend the next few months trying to find a tech t-shirt that says BOSTON.

Great idea about the shirt. Tell your MIL to go suck an egg.

The whole thing maddens and saddens me. I mean, the Boston Marathon. WTF?!?

Morning Ghoulies.

I am here for a short while until I hit the road. Travel to Raleigh, then Winston-Salem tomorrow and back home on Thursday evening. Friday we go to Charlotte for a dinner then the weekend near Charleston for a wedding.

Sheesh. I hope to keep up with some training while on the road. I need to, The NYC tri will NOT run itself.

That would be a great idea. Running in a race is better than running by yourself any day. I was thinking of doing the Asheville, HM for the same reason. It is so damn hilly though.

I should have worked from home today.

The 400 pound man I work with is in here now saying he doesn't know why anyone would ever want to run something as stupid as a marathon, and he'd never expect his family to sit and watch something so boring. How F'IN insensitive can people be? You don't have to run anything, but don't bust on those who did, and those who do, and those who will!

This whole damn thing makes me want to go out and run MORE!!!!

September 28th. It is a byach of a race. They call it hilly but I would call it borderline mountainous. I have signed up for it 3 times and finished it never. This year they have added a full marathon. No way

That's a month before MCM. I haven't registered for Philly yet, if you want (and you can give me a place to stay) I can come down and run it with you if you'd like.

Run more, but don't let peoples stupidity get you down. Brush them off and move on. There are always idiots. (I say that knowing full well that I have a hard time minding my own advise). Do as I say not as I do. Heh.
