ESCKTC Bike Ride Sunday (Page 25)

Since many of us have events on Sunday, anyone up for an easy(ish) ride on Monday (Presidents Day) for those who have off?

Mathias and Cordova61 have already expressed some interest. Any other takers?

This was a fun route that Mat and I did a while back. There are a few light hills in the middle but pretty good bike routes. It's 35 miles, starting at Freestone Park

Totally understandable Mat.  We've all felt the wrath of the Princess!!

Okay, I'm in. 10ish it is. Do we want to me at Freestone Park in the east parking lot (the one closest to Lindsey)? The park is off of Lindsey just south of Guadalupe.

Time for another Sunday ride kids.

So....I have a HUGE favor to ask.  I am DYING to go for a bike ride, as I have not been able to do one in forever, AND with me going out of town for 2 weeks, my ability to get much training in is questionable.  Here is the kicker......Mom just called and said our Easter dinner is at 11:30 this Sunday due to me being out of town next weekend.  So this means I either need to ride from 7am-10am, or at like 1:30.  Of course you know I would prefer the 7am option.  I will not be picky about the route...I promise...as long as I can bow out or loop out by 10.  Let me know your thoughts.

Crapola....everyone is saying it is going to be windy and rainy and shity for a ride on Sunday.  And Sat is out for me. Grrrrrrrrr.  I am SOOOOOO lame on the bike right now!!!

So I guess I will hit the gym on Sat morning for something...depending on how I feel.  I would love to swim, but that requires breathing, so that might be out.  Might just have to do strength training and core so I can wipe my snotty hands on the machines!!  Then Sunday I can do a long run if my lungs allow.  Damn I hate it when a plan doesn't come together!!!
