Hey Tim!! You are a nut for even thinking of doing the 3 hr ride! Welcome to the club, I have a 2 hr treadmill run tomorrow and a 3 hr trainer ride on Sunday! With the trainer ride, I just throw in a movie and go. This should be a low end aerobic ride that is using fat for energy. Every 20 minutes or so I'll stand up just to get out of the saddle but other than that enjoy the movie(s)!!

That's what I'm talking about Baby!!  I feared you were going to suggest intervals of 100-110 cadence.  As a follow-up, does your nutrition/hydration plan for a 2-3 hr trainer ride (or treadmill run) mirror what it would be on race day?

I try to mimic my race day nutrition. Treadmill and trainer workouts are a great way to fine tune nutrition. It's nice having the controlled setting as long as you don't get into the movie and forget about nutrition. (I do that often, I need alarms)

Awesome job!! I am impressed!!

Another 10K race this morning, another PR...yeah me!  This was a predominantly flat/downhill course with one 1 mile climb.  The start was a disaster (the gun is the start, even if you are block away and the mass of humanity makes it a real challenge to get moving).  Overall pace was 7:15/mi, but I had a number of sub 7s after getting out of the people at the start.  Total time was 44:55 according to their clocks, I would down adjust that by at least 1 minute due to the clock start, but who cares...new PR baby!

Did a brisk walk/jog with the family in the pm for about 40 minutes, high cadence (which looks funny when walking) and low HR (Z-1).

 2 hr ride for tomorrow.

I soo needed sleep this past weekend.  I've been battling something that wants to take me out of commission so I just blocked off a 12 hour sleep last night.  I woke up this morning feeling rested but still something tinkering in my head and chest.  I think it's just allergies.

I know my bike ride took a lot out of me because Saturday's movie and a dinner with Dave was exhausting!

BUT enough negative stuff.. I want to go swim.

Who's tinkering with T's chest???  Man, I always miss out on what the cool kids of BT are doing.  Weekend was good, got some good trainer time in and almost avoided eating completely unhealthy.  But I did manage to say no to this:

HEY, I was thinking about your chest too!! Just because he's fast, slim, good looking and from Binghamton, shouldn't give his dirty thoughts preference over mine

As per my mentor's instructions, I ran today!
