I don't know how some people do it - get wasted and then train the morning after. I went on a bike ride once, after getting pretty drunk the night before and it was awful.

Some of us have more HTFU in us than most.

Actually, I think, no offense to anyone here, that it's kinda stupid...not a question of HTFU. If you have an important workout or race, seems silly to trash it with a night of stupidity.

Maybe some of us have slight masochistic tendencies and like to hurt.  Makes the bad times that much easier.

"Man this run sucks, but at least I'm not hungover like that one time..."

Plus, I like drinking.  Not gonna pass up a night out with friends because "I gotta run tomorrow."

Not saying you can't go out. But if I have a difficult run, I'm probably not going to have more than one.

Plus, I dunno, I'm kind of over getting hammered just for the sake of it.

Just wanted to add my thoughts to today's tan...

I work with the most immature, catty b*tches EVER!!! Without going into much detail, as I am at my desk, they (there's 5 of us girls total in my group, and I am specifically referring to 3) are constantly doing sh*t between them 3 and constantly excluding me and the other one, and making everything uncomfortable here...it's so very highschool and CLIQUEY (is that a word?)!!!  Oh, I should mention too, the reason why they are so close and I am an "OUTSIDER" is because they all go down for smoke breaks together.

THANK GOD IT'S FRIDAY!!!

What kinda flyer?

About the traffic calming plan that the city has... and what we need to do to as a street to make sure that our voices are heard and our street is moved up the priority list.

Used to do it all the time.  Ahhh....college.

I've taken many physical fitness tests while still slightly inebriated.  Usually scored pretty well, too.  My pre-race ritual usually involves a couple beers.

Okay, TAN - friend of mine just gave me a better, and easier costume idea than SP. 'The Walk of Shame' - oversized button-down shirt (can be procured from any number of guy friends), a pair of boxers or gym shorts, heels, messy-ish hair, and droopy eye make-up. Possibly stained-in lip liner.

What say you, TAN? Should this be my outfit for the evening? I have generic black mesh gym shorts I can wear, got the heels, make-up, etc and can borrow a shirt from one of the male VAMDDCBTTC'ers.

How fast were you going?  Were there small children flying for cover?  That seems pretty steep.

Make sure the buttons are not lined up correctly... Suuper wrinkly shirt... maybe a lip stick stain on the collar.

pretty standard fine here in tx.. I was coming off the highway on to the frontage road and I was just coasting down to speed.. the trap was right as you merge into traffic so I was doing  55 in a 35, exactly 20 over for the higher ticket... I asked to see the actual radar reading and he refused

Ooh, yes, good. Not sure about the lipstick, unless it's one of my shirts - don't think any of my guy friends would let me get lipstick on their shirt. But yeah, all the buttons messed up is good!

Hahaha, $200 seems to be the minimum around these parts.  That's not bad at all.
