Thanks, Hope you're better too.  I'm feeling a bit more human and have gotten on the trainer for a ride but have more to do so I'm not posting my ride here yet

The bonus points and the riding time that I lost from those 3 days when we had no power and no trainer really killed me.  I'm struggling to stay in the top 10 and I will be happy if I can do that!  But this challenge has helped me get going again.  I did almost 90 minutes today and it was a fairly hard workout, sweating buckets while watching an Ironman DVD.  I'm seeing good progress!  I might have to sign up for a sprint tri this summer.

Weight:171, Gain of 3lbs

Never fails, I always gain 2-4 pounds when traveling and the loose it in 3 days when I get home. So I should be down to about 168 again around mid week, but it basically means a set back of 2 weeks. Good thing is I have no plans to travel until March

I started no sugar, not junk food, no sugar substitutes, no diet soda, no whites stuff like rice, flour or potatoes....what a difference it makes.

I got 11 hours so far this month. I know that really doesn't stack up to the big riders but without this challenge I would have gotten closer to 2, if that. Thank you so much.

I love new years resolutions...

2008 - do a tri and lose weight ~ I did 3 tris and lost about 15 lbs

2009 - do a 1/2 mary, 2 tris, and 2 rides and lose more weight

No problem Darren...it looks like I can hang in there in 10th place so that's good enough for me.  Missing those days and bonus points was a let down, but I had a good month of riding and my fitness level bounced back quite a bit!

I don't think I'm up to organizing another challenge for January, since I have a ton of work here, installing new flooring in my entire house...that's going to keep me pretty busy.  But I did sign up for the peach challenge, just to keep me honest and to make sure I get on my bike every day!
