Jeepguy2358 - 2010-08-23 1:53 PM Hey everyone!  It's been awhile since I've contributed to the group, but just wanted to quickly pop in and say thanks for all of the support, advice, info, etc.  Being a golf pro, this is my busy time at work, then throw IM training on top of that, it leaves very little time for anything else.  Whatever little slivers are left are spent with my family.  I hope everyone is doing well.  Hopefully I can jump back in to the group after all this is over next week.  I'll be thinking about everyone when I toe the line in Louisville this Sunday.  Thanks again.  You guys rock!

At least your spouse has interest in running with you!  Man I think I would considering run backwards a couple of times a week if that what it took to get Shelly out running / riding with me!   

But really, maybe you should say something to him about his running in front of you, seems easy enough to fix.  Doesn't he like pace booty?

Yesterday he spent hours at work searching for his next tri.
Today he called me mid-day asking me all kinds of swim questions...seems he spent a lot of time at the pool today.

I'm thinking the bug has bit

Kyla-and all of the couples that run together, and even train tri together, that is pretty awesome and a serious testament to the strength of your relationship.  Funny how it is the guys running just in front of their "women"...must be a protective thing...never know what might jump out of the bushes and such...  that 7/10th of a mile was just the garmin exaggerating  

We are having a wonderful tropical heat wave here!  Finally, after months of fog and cold and wind this summer, it is in the 80's 100's and I had a planned morning off today!  Went to swim at the outdoor pool and was in heaven...slow heaven, but heaven anyways.  

Have a wonderful day, all.  I'm off to read some RR's as soon as I get to work, LOL.

Had to edit the temp, our car temp said 102!  Wowza!    I'm supposed to run after work!

What cracked me up about the race was that the kids got timing chips! So he should get all 5 splits when they post the final results.  :-)

That is awesome!  Now we'll have to have a "wife rant" from your hubby about swimming ahead of him all of the time!  That is super cool.

Sorry to hear that, we had to deal with that a few months ago, it was tough.
