Just logged my runs for the week. Only did 2 mile today as i am getting ready for my race on Sunday.

42.42 of 52 miles so far.

I should get to my 52 easily, which probably means I need to up my goal next time.

You are already running 5k distance so, just treat the race like a training day. You should be fine.

Got another 9.6 in today.  Whew, minor aches and pains but nothing like last week.  I'll do more PT and see how I feel in the morning.

Been on the Injured Reserve list much of this week, but I'm still only 13 miles from my goal....

I'm going out now to try for 6.   Wish me luck!

Running there in a bit , but I  got to watch out for the geese

Waida minute...the grass is green...there are no leaves on the ground...the sky is not overcast...

Toto...I have a feeling we're not in Kansas anymore...

I suspect the ground where you are is starting to turn very brown, in preparation for white.

I'm going outside now for some sunshine, blue sky and hopefully an uneventful run

Well, back from my run... Not painless, but not bad either, although it did slow my pace pretty good on the back half.   Although ended up going only 5.5  -- Route I took was a new one, and came up just a bit short.   But I figure it was close enough. Only off a half mile and I only now have just under 7 miles to go for the month to complete my challenge committment!

Thanks!   I took it carefully.   I not only concerned about the challenge, but I got 18 weeks to get ready for a marathon!   Got to try to keep on track training wise.

That said, I'm a wimp, so if it gets too bad, I'll stop!

Resting it the past few days really helped!

MILA! Sal needs to do more hill repeats on the treadmill. (Make him puke next time.)

Trust me, this is the goal for next time!

Sal has experienced the joy that is the Woodway treadmill.  He ran at my pace... which was basically like a walk for him...

You should have "slipped" and "accidentally" raised the incline to 12%, with a 15 mph pace. That would have gotten his attention.

I haven't seen a treadmill go up to 15mph, or I would have tried that on someone else...

But most will go up to 14mph

Wow!  That's a 4:17 min/mile pace!  I would REALLY like to see someone run on a treadmill at that speed.

Any BT volunteers?  Please post the video on youtube.com...
Mila! Sal's calling your name! He wants you to put him on a treadmill at 14 mph with a 12% incline, and then post video of it on youtube.

This could be arranged quite easily... and yes, we have cameras all over the place.  Book a flight, Sal and bring your running shooz.

Thanks. I was hoping to go faster. A few weeks ago I ran 21:15. The course yesterday was more difficult though and the last half was uphill into a strong headwind. Still, it was my best time ever on this course, so I was pleased. I also managed to beat several guys who've been beating me earlier this year.

Cold/wet snow falling/windy today. I opted for the treadmill again. I got in 6.5 miles. That puts me at just over 250 miles for the month and 100% for the challenge.

It looks like a bunch of people are close to being done. Hopefully the rest will put more effort in this week and our team will win.
