CHR15 I thought these two were related

besides I gotta keep myself fresh for Saturday night...

and

keeping Sue 'happy'

CHR15, lost for words then ???

Must be your lack of mileage!!!!!

Trying to plan a cafe stop ride this weekend but it'll be hilly so you can get some extra miles in on the flat to catch up. (Tease, tease, tease.) If you do go to Canterbury you could carry on to Ramsgate. There's a lovely little fish 'n chip shop on the harbour (please note the correct spelling, cousins). I had a beautifully battered John Dory with plenty of salt & vinegar on the chips (chips as in chips not crisps). Wouldn't fancy the ride back after that though. The locals around here (I'm from the South originally) have mushy peas with theirs. Disgusting.

Wifey's gone to bed early. Think she feels sick after seeing those photos. Brilliant work Lyssa. Thanks. xxx He's been bugging me for years.

Girl Passing on Left - 2008-03-18 6:00 PM

want you to be the first to know that there is no frickin way I went 63 MPH in that race LOL......I would not attempt that speed on a paved road either....I think the max I have ever hit was right at 50 and that was in my prime on a paved road on my mtn bike and I about poo'd my pants when I was done....so everyone that reads my race report realize that is a BIG NO WAY! not sure what I did to make it calculate that!? I will go back when i get a chance to edit but mean while....no that I may be a little speedy...but would have had to free fall to hit that speed! happy to say that I did not free fall...and that I am still in one piece for my first triathlon that I will be racing next month!!

I just took another look at your report. You have your ride time as 5 minutes and 10 seconds.

BTW, you should put your time/distance into your logs, too. I believe there's acheck box somewhere that will automatically do that.

Found a scanner. It was 21 years ago, today. If anyone says I look like a young Drew Barrymore...... I've got stubble like Sawyer from Lost though.

Pity about the bloke swimming in the background. Suppose I could airbrush him out nowadays.

Please, please promise not to laugh.

Looks like you definately married up Martin!

Barsteward! I actually had hair too. Is she trying to get my pants off?

Should have had a ride today to put the squeeze on a little harder but had a run instead. Didn't log the warm down on the trainer as it was only 3 mins.

Do the challenge results take into consideration the number of posts on the team thread???

We are winning by miles!

Does that surprise you?

Maybe Lynne will smuggle some fish n chips back from her trip to Scotland.  Are they as good there as in England?  I've only had them in England.  And Seattle, where they are ok.  It's not my food of choice as I like to skip the fried foods--one bite and I gain about ten pounds and get zits.  It sucks getting old.

I am super frustrated again about biking--was gonna ride this morning but it's wet roads and dark clouds so I skipped it, will hop on the trainer again, hopefully longer this time.  Hubby says I can ride to his work tomorrow if it clears, and can have all the time I want on Saturday to ride, so at least there are options.  I just want you all to know that I am not slacking on purpose! I've been very good about getting my running and swimming done, it's the weather, I tells ya!  I just do not trust the Seattle roads/drivers when it is wet.  Too many people not paying attention, talking on their cell phones, feeding their kids, etc (wait, that's me....umm...).

CHR15 TREE - 2008-03-19 9:24 AM Most of all important to stay safe. Is talking on Mobile Phones in cars not illegal there like it is here? Not that that makes a difference?

Besides you gotta be back by 7 on saturday!

It becomes illegal sometime this summer.  I am trying to talk on the phone as much as I can until then.  JK. I always use my headset!  I do feel as if I always have my hands stretched behind me giving the kids this or that, and then have to have my coffee nearby.  Geez, what a distracted driver.  However, I do look out for the cyclists and give them extra room and thumbs ups!  None of this trying to get them to adjust my mirrors for me...did I tell you guys that story from a recent ride?  I know I blogged it.  Anyway, I am avoiding responsibility by being online this morning.....hehe.  Kids are playing nicely together for the moment.  Ah.

And Chris, do you need directions to get here on Saturday?

Hey Peeps!

I got in 13 miles on the rollers this morning and I'm planning to bike commute on Friday (about 18 miles round trip). I also expect to get out over the weekend but may do a shorter bike/run brick. Gotta get ready for my triathlon that's in 4 weeks!

I had great fish n chips when I was in London several years ago. We used to have Arthur Treacher's here here back in the 70's but there all gone now.
