I think I'd be better at it now.  I mean, I wear spandex, go around smelling like chlorine, and shave my arms and legs.  Any sense of embarassment has gone out the window.  Maybe I could get in front of people and act now.  You wouldn't won't to hear me sing though.  Ugh...

Well, it's about that time.  G'night!

Spandex and razors are most of our standard stuff now.   Just how little spandex becomes the issue....

BTW -- Gorgeous place to ride you've got.   AWESOME view.

Me -- High School daughters Chior concert wasn't merciful length -- 3.5 hours!   I was about to go crazy -- and that's saying a lot, because I LOVE music (vocal performance minor) Son's Band concert wasn't bad though.  He got an award for Bandsman of the year  (ok bragging father here).   We're off to Austin on Saturday for my middle daughters performance at the State Solo and Ensemble competition.

Some parents go to football and basketball games, me -- it's usually a concert or a play!

Oh -- add 4 miles to my log for the month!  Just ahead of plan here.

Got the long swim in this morning, decent workout at 2150.  Drills in prep for Monday's Sprint Tri.

Hey Bill, I'm about 5 miles from the Natchez on this end.

Got 2250 meters in last night at the new pool...

The best part?

I DON'T SMELL LIKE CHLORINE!

The bad part? The new chemicals make me hack up a lung. Bad news bears.

Hey Bill, I'm about 5 miles from the Natchez on this end.

I'm toying with the idea of riding it point to point one day.  I'm not sure how the future wife will like that as "vacation" though.  It's what?  440 miles or something?  A century plus a little a day would do it I guess.  No sweat  I've done ONE century before.

I ummmm, 'visited' the east coast team and mentioned that they might not want to bet on passing us, well..............they are taking on the challenge and, well, i know the rest of you are way more clever than me when it comes to smack talk!

not to mention the fact that mid week results are not exactly reliable - not everyone updates them after every workout - if you know what I mean

Got in a nice ride today.  Well, it was nice other than the traffic and red lights.  And tomorrow...I'm getting up and getting to the fricking pool!  No more missed swims.  My swimming reward will be a trip to the LBS to look at road bikes.  Now, gotta go update the spreadsheet.  See if I can knock those east coasters off the top rung.

Did I miss anything?  I've been busy training, training, and training.  I was only going to do one session today, but I found some unused training minutes in the East thread, so I stole them and did two extra sessions.

Morning strength session completed this morning - dropped the weight considerably.  I'm a bit tired from yesterday's long swim.  Have a 45 min run on tap this evening if it doesn't storm.  May try and brick it if the roads are dry in prep for Monday.
