lisac957 - 2012-12-20 11:14 AM Snow here.. ugh. Wore the wrong shoes for this mess.

No snow, just freezing temps here.

And, I wore two different shoes this morning.

That is funny

The soles are different thickness. I got out of my car to walk to my building at work and was like "oh god - why do my legs feel funny? what did i do?"

Luckily, I keep steel toed boots at my desk. No one will know... that is, until I leave for the day and put the mis-matched shoes back on

Is one of them red?

Nope - black and brown.

Ok so you're not a spy but do you have white socks on? That would make it perfect.

Good morning TAN!

Vegas was unusually cold yesterday..  Ick

BUT, I forget that the rest of the nation has a real winter.  I was watching all the storm coverage from Denver and throughout the midwest.

I jumped on the scale this morning after a month of a whole lot of nothing.  Yikes... 10-15 lbs extra.

Stop the INSANITY!

BTW, who remembers her and where is she now?

You are assuming the world will make it that far.

I actually studied the Mayan calendar for a while until realizing that I was looking at an Oreo cookie instead. They look eerily similar.

Do you really think a few extra hours in AZ would be worth it?

Actually I like the southwest but 2 or 3 hours not really worth the expense.

I settled on a Starbucks gift card and my chili for our office party today.

I swear, engineers must work here.  One guy brought in bagged chips and a jar of salsa.  Another guy's "meatballs" were frozen meatballs with a bottle of BBQ sauce over it in a crock pot.  Another was a bought 7-layer dip.

Oh, and half the presents?  Wrapped in thrown away construction plans that were outdated/revised.

Really?  I'm going to eat this crap?  I'm going to stick to my chili, which was made from scratch...

Anyone know how much kenneling is?  Is there a deal for two dogs?

I don't know what to do with my little dogs over the holidays.  No one can take them in.  My bio-dad and his wife really want us to bring them but they have white carpet and white tile and white walls (not that poop should be hitting the walls)...

And my dogs are BASICALLY house trained.  They are at our house except for the girl who now has a bladder stone causing some minor bladder issues and little "accidents".  Long story.  But at a new house, they sometimes don't know the routine.  So I fell like I would have to monitor them 24/7.  I would hate for them to pee on a while carpet....  They have a dog of there own, which is a plus.

But kenneling may be WAY too expensive.

I don't know what to do...  and stressed.  Holidays suck!  haha!

I wish I had a goal like an event like that.  I need SOMETHING to motivate me.

I could NEVER do a power lifting event.  My muscles are too long to be crazy strong like that.  Too long/far to move the weights.  I have never been very strong.  Like only 30 pushup max or 12 pullups while the little guys crank out hundreds.

But we are in Tuson ....and Tuson is unnecessary. So we already do not exist thus we are safe!!!

Well existence is relative as is safe.

Ugh my brother just relayed the story about how they put their dog down a couple days ago.

I'm not emotional about death but that one tugged at the heart strings.

Maybe it's because dogs are so much better than people.

I don't know there were some pretty big guys at my last competition but yeah not quite as tall as you.  It was funny our flight of lifters included the some of the smaller weight class guys.  So at the end, during the awards part, there I am with a few other women my relative height and a bunch of guys that came up to about our chins to our noses.

Some places offer a discount if you board two little dogs in the same kennel. You'd need to plan ASAP though, kennels can fill up during the holidays.
