I am good, hoping my legs recover soon from yesterday's race, I amazed at how much they can hurt after racing! Bummer of a weekend for you, I can't believe you had someone staying with you...without even being asked! It must have been hard for you and K to really catch up with someone else around. |

Extreme Veteran 597 New Joisy | Subject: RE: Team Lively Lava MDHillSlug - 2008-04-21 5:10 PM I think walking only counts towards your running goal if it's a normal part of your routine, i.e., 5min run/1min walk, etc. As of today the month is 70% over. 61% of the team is behind the pace! Get in gear and log those miles and minutes! Let's GO GO GO! Nah, the rules don't outline that it has to be part of your normal routine. Hope not or I would have to decrease my bike time as I don't normally spin, and I did twice this month. |

What happens if you are over 100% on some part of the challenge and under 100% on another part? Is it your average that gets counted as the official % completed for the month? This is the first challenge I've participated in where we each have more than one activity. It is my understanding that your % completion for each activity will be averaged and then those will be averaged with each team member to arrive at the team % completion. So, if you do 110% swimming, 105% biking, and 90% running, your completion total is (110+105+90)/3=101.67 |

Also...I have been in challenges where if you did over 100% you could "give some" to a teammate to get them to 100%. Wonder if this is going to be the case this time. My goal is to be over the 100% mark on each event so if I can help a teammate that would be great....but then again...I have such GREAT gals to work with they probably won't need any help from the old man of the group...an old guy with great legs...but an old guy never the less. |

Master 3479 Utah | Subject: RE: Team Lively Lava I just updated my log and my time on the spreadsheet. i have now officially hit my goal for runnning for the month. Now to get caught up o n the bike goal (eek), and to finish up the swim. I think I can do it. I just have to find a couple parts for the trainer so I can get in some long rides in my living room. oh, yeah--did I mention I bought a trainer? It has a few issues, as far as working with my bike, but hopefully it will be a quick fix. Either way, I'm going to go ahead and hit the stationary tonight at the gym. I figure I have an appointment with the massage therapist tomorrow, so if the stationary tries a repeat attack like the last few times I rode it, I'll be able to get myself fixed tomorrow. gotta run, time to pick up the older kiddo from school.

good job Amy! you are doing great! kiu!!! Thanks. I did get on the stationary, for about 50 minutes. Whew. Only 130 more to go. Anyone have any idea where I can get parts for my indoor trainer? Is the manufacturere (minuora) the best place, or do bike shops carry some parts? |
