Good morning everyone!  I'm in a really good mood today.  I'm excited about the election.  I'm going to a friend's election-day party tonight.

Oh, and you can also get free ice cream at Ben and Jerry's today!!

Geez, free Starbucks and Ben and Jerry's???   If that doesn't get out the vote, what will?   Excuse me while I run out to Starbucks!

Mornin' everybody!

We're having a leisurely morning before heading out to vote.

Don't faint but I'm considering swimming today.

Oooh!  We should celebrate!  Mmmm... sweet chlorine.

Hee hee.  Don't get too excited, shuga, I said I was considering it.  But I could be motivated by something blue and slushy...

Also on the swimming front, all that stuff I ordered nearly two weeks ago is FINALLY getting here today!  Free shipping is cool, but I might should have paid the seven bucks to get it here in a reasonable amount of time.

Yippeee!!  The phone books are here the phone books frog floaties are here.

sesh - 2008-11-04 6:41 AM And I did a polling place drive-by. I figure by late this afternoon, there won't be a double line wrapped around the building. Sheesh! I wonder if this is indicative of a large turnout or just the eager regulars?

I think that it is going to be fairly busy this election. I suppose that is good, but I don't want to stand in line in the wind and rain. I vote in a tiny church's basement. There is only room for about 10 people to wait inside. I will need to pick up some coffee before I get in line.

If you can wait till after you vote, Starbucks will give you free coffee.

There is one across the street from the poll location-maybe I can convince them to give it to me before.

Fun!!! I'm in a great mood, too. BoyToy's working from home for ease of standing-in-line-sans-toddler. He's voting now and I'll go later. Slept in, yummy breakfast. Two kids playing Play-Doh, one reading. I get extra BT time. Beautiful out so we can go for a hike, maybe.

No party for me (sounds like fun, though!) but heck, I got Starbucks and B&J's right across the street from each other...

ooooh, lucky you.  a boy-toy, what fun!

Bummer.  We don't have Ben and Jerry's anymore.  I'll just have to live with the B&J already in the freezer.  Gotta love the Chubby Hubby!
