Kate, I hope you stomp the depression like you stomped that race! {{{KiwiPress}}}

Allen, I must say I look forward to reading your responses each morning!  As for you in yellow, if Wiggins can do all yellow (save the dorky knee-high socks) then you most certainly can. Must say I'm partial to the BMC black n red though...

I've been digging  SKY and Radioshack-Nissan myself Smile

Team Sky. There is no other. Utter pigletude. The Sky piglettes are amazing, too.

My picks are strictly color scheme/graphic design based but I suppose that is a component of pigletude, right?

If we're going strictly on colors and design, I like Lampre. That should tell you everything you need to know about my taste (lack thereof). You do know I live in a pink house with red doors?

Ooooh boy! My head might explode. You know my line of work, right? Wink

I grew up in a blue house with red doors and white trim. Mom got this really strange-er-patriotic streak I guess. Sigh.

Yes ma'am, you try to disguise exotic-dancer bars and clubs into something else that's a socially acceptable addiction.

Ugh. Biscuits just crawled in covered in some kind of godawful crust and she keeps yelling at me because I'm trying to pick it out of her fur. Admittedly, tufts of fur keep coming out with it ...

And she wants to sleep on my bed?! BLECH

I think I'm just going to cut it all out of her fur. She'll look ... pretty stupid. Not as stupid as she does now.

Two words: Lion Shave.

I'm glad to see that the Manatees had a good weekend at the races.  Congratulations to all!

We do it all the time...better than trying to brush or comb out really bad mats.  Or sticky stuff.

Hey, we have a cat who has pretty long hair. In fact, since we got her spayed it has started growing uncontrollably. Anyway, now that is is summer and getting a little hot (shush mid-westerners, I mean hot by Seattle standards) would it be a good idea to consider getting her shaved or do they naturally cool themselves?

 1. Thank you for not saying 'spaded'

2. Is she acting like the heat is bothering her?  Seeking out lino floors or lying in the bathroom sink (yes, my fat, long haired cat does this)

If she is acting like the heat is bothering her, you might consider it.  We shave the fat cat's tummy, just because he is fat and doesn't groom himself well, and the other day I came home to find him flat on his back, shaved part up.  Guess he liked the air on his skin...  One thing you have to consider is will she tolerate being clipped?  Some have to be sedated or full on anesthetized, in which case I only recommend doing it if absolutely necessary.

Thanks for answering that for me. Yep, pretty sure she would kill someone if we didn't put her under. So I'll defer on this one. Dreams of a lion cut cat, SHATTERED.

OOHh, I've been busy - did a drive by read of all the goings on here - I'm really proud of our group - great racing, great tapering, great half-iron-signing-up, great recovering, great photos of HOT POLE VAULTERS,  just GREAT, pod!!

Keep up the great work, everyone - as this week slows down for me I'll be around more.  I get to go shoot a Hobie Cat regatta this weekend - should be fun - kinda an adventure to have all my $$$ camera gear on a small boat when it's super windy and WET!  Always an adventure! (oh and I have to get a taper bike in there too - HIM coming up the weekend after next )

tata!

SO cool!!!!! Good luck keeping your equipment dry, sheesh!

So all this talk of Pomeranians reminded me of my run on Sunday.  My dog and I were almost done with our run when I heard the yap-yap of an ankle-biter coming from behind me on the right.  There are no houses over there so I turned to look to see where the yapping was coming from.  I see, across the road, on a bike, a young person riding a bike wearing a backpack.  Sticking out of the top of said backpack was a Pom head, barking profusely!  It was hilarious!!! Of course my dog is a snob and always begins to raise her head and prance/run when she sees a dog being transported in a carrier. I guess she thinks herself superior because she is actually running.
