He had to use the restroom 6 times..?! Did he have some sort of active bladder syndrome? Or did he just drink too much? |

Thought about you today Lisa, I was at the local grocery store, getting some provisions and I saw two high school aged girls standing by the gluten free section in the baked goods lane reading each package intently. They looked like they were just trying to figure this whole gluten free thing out. I thought That must be hard to go gluten free when your family doesn't do that already. Did you grow up that way? Or was it a choice at some point? I have a good friend who's son is autistic and they find if they don't do the gluten free, he's unmanageable. I'd miss Pizza...and crappy super market fried chicken. That's what I'd miss. |

That's what I'd miss. I was diagnosed with Celiac as a baby/toddler when I first started eating solid foods, so I grew up with it. Then my Mom and sister were diagnosed as adults. My Mom had a hard time with it even though she'd made substitutions for every meal of MY life, it was a whole different ball game for HER to give up her Cherios and bagels. Good thing is there is a substitute for EVERYTHING nowadays... I can order GF pizza from places like Dominos and have it delivered to my door. For example |
