This is a portion of my Monday at work. From my blog:

Since today will have no training in it, let me share with you one of my experiences today at work. My boss had warned me about some guy who has recently joined the Y and has been swimming in his underwear. Friday I saw him and it was hard to tell, but yes, he was swimming in black under armour boxers. Boss told me today that he hadn't had a chance to talk to the guy yet, but to let him know if he shows up. Today Underwear Guy comes into the pool and once again pulls his what look like swim trunks off to expose (gasp!) tighty-whiteys!!! I don't get this. I am soooooooooooooo uber self-conscious that I freak when the elasticity is shot in my suits, let alone swimming in white, un-lined underwear. The guy gets out of the pool and immediately wraps a towel around his see-through self and proceeds to pull his trunks back on and leaves. So he must realize that everyone can see his junk. That everyone is given no choice but to see his junk. Boss told me not to say anything unless he parades around the deck. He doesn't, but come on. Tighty-whiteys? Am I just that much of a prude? Bleck.

I hope this isn't setting the tone for the week

I have been known to walk around music festivals in tighty-whiteys... I have no problem showing off "the junk." lol

QueenZipp - 2008-10-06 6:16 AM Last week was Kristen's fault for the flat tire.  No one can be blamed for the skunk today (ewwwww).  BUT, I  rolled my ankle and went down on my run today so it must be Jen's fault since she rolled her ankle the other day.   I'm bringing a baggie for ice to work  and no cute heels today either.

Might as well be.  Everything else is my fault.

No - not everything. But I just realized your running shoe looks like it is peeing.

You having a bad day?

Me or Kristen?

If you're asking me, I am having a bad day.

why is it a bad day?

I'm kinda unmotivated.  My husband is grumpy with me (don't know why).  I'm tired and sore from running on Saturday.  I was ok yesterday.  Two days out really seems to be the worst for recovery.

This morning definitely felt like a "Manic Monday"
The kids had dental appts. at 8am.... what was I thinkin' when I scheduled that?
And yes, I ws dumb enough to schedule the next appts at the same time... Monday 8am.
guess I'm a gluten for punishment....

Just another Manic Monday
Wish it was Sunday
Cause that's my fun day
I don't have to run day....

Thank you, Judi. I can understand the black boxers. I had to really study the guy to make sure they weren't jammers. But this was obvious. No imagination required. No kids when he swims, but lots of elderly ladies as this was right after the arthritis class.

Agreed. Poo on gray skies and cold weather.

Gray skies? Cold weather?

It was 82 F and sunny here today.

NOT that I got a chance to go outside and enjoy it. But, at least it wasn't cold and gray....

BTW, it could be worse... One day while I was swimming, a guy in the next lane was... um... well, he MIGHT have had a really bad itch. But I doubt it.

I did not stay around to see what happened after that. I just felt the need to get OUT of the pool, and take a LONG shower. With soap. LOTS and LOTS of soap.

All in all, I preferred the cockroaches to that.
