And he didn't give me a ticket, He stopped you most likely since your hot..{I've never seen you} quite a few attractive female friends of mine get stopped in the middle of the day, for very minor things and it's usually the cop just wanted to chat up a nice looking female I don't recall him trying to flirt with me. they see if you flirt with them first... it's their built in excuse if you object to being pulled over for being blond/brunette/redhead. My boss is the slowest driver I knew but has blond hair and a pretty face.. she gets pulled over all the time, I'm not a bad driver though. I'm not slow, I use my signal, I'm not your "typical female driver". I've been in DC for 4 years and have never once gotten pulled over, which is surprising considering the idiots that drive around here, and what you have to do sometimes to avoid getting into an accident. |

Davenport, IA | Subject: RE: #57 - I Need a Drink - Gin and TANic Death related question for TAN: Background- after my last race I failed to clean out my aerodrink as well as I should have (apparently). I started to notice that it tasted funny and went to clean it again, to discover that it had mildewed. I tried to clean it out with regular dish detergent, but that didn't work. It's now sitting in my sink in a bleach & water solution. I plan on rinsing it out thoroughly in the next few minutes and using it shortly after that. What are the odds that this kills me?

The bleach or the mildew? The mildew would have killed you already, and as long as you rinse off the bleach, no problem. Things might smell extra clean, but that's not a problem. |

Not very high. Bleach will kill that. Use it in the lab all the time to kill the mold. |

Not very high. Bleach will kill that. Use it in the lab all the time to kill the mold. But the bleach won't hurt me if I rinse it out really well? I rinsed it and then washed it with dish soap again and I can't smell the bleach. |

I rinsed it and then washed it with dish soap again and I can't smell the bleach. Shouldn't. Chlorox is something like 30% of the actual bleach chemical. You diluted it the first time, plus all the rinsing. If you're getting any at this point, it's not going to be enough to make you sick. Cool lab experiment - pour Chlorox onto red blood cells (50/50). The RBCs explode. I have a picture somewhere... |
