Ugh, I need to get me some swim-specific body wash. My regular stuff just doesn't cut it - I smell like a vat of chemicals. Ick.

I need to get me to a pool... I kinda miss it...

BT will be representing at RAGBRAI this year!  Just got the notification this morning!

Woot!

That is good news... Who is all on the team?

Me, Schwammy (SAG driver), Kiley, jdwright, SprintDA might join us for a day or two, Nette, BeCivil, and maybe one or two others.  Can't remember.  There is a list on the RAGBRAI thread on TriTalk forum.

Totally psyched. For me it really will be a one time experience as it is going to take away from races in July.  but it will be worth it.

Yeah... I can understand that... but all the riding in order to train for it will definately help make you a stronger cyclist in the long run.

Yep.  That's the plan.  I've got an Olympic in August that 2goggs and I are going head to head in.  We will probably be in the same wave.  So I'm hoping this will help my bike cause I know he can smoke me on the run.

It's on like Donkey Kong!

Chicago/Accenture tri?? If you can throw down the same speed in the swim from your last tri (~1:35/100) and ride in the ~22 mph avg range he might not catch you in the run... Sounds like it will be a good time though.

Actually no, Pleasant Prarie. Which I will should be even faster in the swim.  Don't know about the ride.  Depends on which route they do.  But I'm hoping to get my MPH about 21+.  Then it is holding on for dear life in a SOOPER flat 10k.

Actually, he and I and my wife are doing Chicago as a team.  She is swimming, I'm riding and Tony is running.  Just for fun.  Team name "Cause she doesn't run".

I didn't think the old ladie's guild at the church allowed you to wear your speedos under the robe.

I know for a fact that some of the ladies in our choir only wear their skivvies underneath the robes - those things are too hot, esp. in the summer, or during crowded services.

Nope, we only have one choir, and it's mostly women over 40...

We have another worship team as well, for the contemporary service, and then those of us who sing at the young adults service. But none of us are required to wear robes - just plain street clothes. Most of us are younger.
