Sanctuarymuch schwamm.

I don't normally frequent this thread, but I was scanning thru this morning and saw this. My first thought was Sanctuary from Logan's Run. Any else remember Logan's Run?

Hmmmm...No.  BUT...I do have a Logan story...

So are you gonna tell it?... or just let us hanging.

LEAVE. For God's sake: LEAVE us hanging....

Yikes. Sorry Fish, I can't believe I did that.

On a positive note, I drove a 315 yard green last night.  That made me happy.

Eagle?

Morning TAN!

Lots of new faces... Hello everyone and stay a while!

Mornin' LCT. Where ya been?

I'm glad there's new faces around too... new lab rats.

You have no idea how true that is. I've worked in a lab for over 13 years now.

Yeah!! More lab people! What kind of lab do you work in?

Work in a food testing laboratory. Mainly microbial. Bacteria. Yeasts. Molds. All kinds of good little bugs.

You?

I did that for about two months at the Oscar Mayer plant.  It was interesting.

Right now, I'm in a microbiology lab.  I'm working on gene expression in cardiology patients (well...eventually).  My work is mainly ironing out protocols so that we are ready once our patient study begins.  Today, I'm isolating mononuclear cells from blood.  It's probably the coolest thing I've done in awhile.

OK I fell dumm now.

LEAVE. For God's sake: LEAVE us hanging....

Back to the Future... "So why don't you make like a tree, and get outta here?"

WHAM!

"It's leave, you idiot! Make like a tree and LEAVE...You sound like a darn fool when you say it wrong!"

"Alright then LEAVE!"

I <3 the Back to the Future movies.

Me too.  I quote the "You're my density" line a lot.  People look at me like I'm on crack but REALLY...they are.  How can someone not know that line?

Ryna is a golfer who doesn't know Caddyshack, so nothing surprises me anymore...

That is cool!  Mine is not nearly that sexy.  Actually, I haven't worked in the lab itself in quite a few years.  Now mainly administrative.  I develop protocols for testing new food products to help determine things like Shelf Life, reaction to innoculation (in case the food does become accidentally contaminated), evaluating processing parameters (time and temperature and how or if it kills bacteria), etc.  Mainly applied research.

Snerk!  I haven't heard that one in a while.  I actually had a LP (vinyl) with that on it.  Might actually still have it.
