Rob, those infrared images look great.  How did you modify your digital camera to capture them?

All the dogs are so cute.  My dog is to hyper, psycho to dress up yet.  Maybe when she is an old lady.  Here's my puppy Shay, she is a blue merle Australian Shepherd and nicknamed Pure Evil!

I had an aussie which was the most loyal friend in the world. He was 5 years old when he passed away with a rare blood disease. He was pretty hyper when he was young, but settled down into a wonderful pet. We started training him when he was just a puppy. He loved to play frisbee and was awesome at catching it.

Anyway, I think you'll have the best friend in the world when he settles down in a year or two. I miss my aussie so much I have not had the interest in getting a new pet. Its been about 2 years.

Okay, another GS Pointer (cept mixed with beagle...we think). Adopted Murphy in April 2004 and since Pointer and Beagle are hunting breeds ne makes a great running coach.

He's about 3 years old and weighs about 35 lbs. Also, has been WONDERFUL around our first child...giving the occasional chin to forehead tongue bath.

Here's Bela and Luna.

Bela died a bit over two years ago.  Luna has addison's disease.  We think that's probably what Bela died from, but it was never diagnosed.

Luna is a crazy Vizsla.  She's great to run with!

Here is a pic of my cutest chihuahua. We adopted him from the pound, he was about to get put down if you can believe it. He is so unlike any other chihuahua I've ever come across...we wonder if he doesnt have some jack russell or something in him. He loves to chase the ducks at the park and his stuffed hedgehog at home. I could never imagine life without him. My mother in law is fretting that we will NEVER have kids now

What a crazy coincidence!  My landlord and his family when I lived in San Diego have a Vizsla named Luna!

My wife and I have 2 Brittany doggies, Jazz and Aurora.  I don't have any pictures of Jazzy on this computer but here's one of me driving with Rora.

Awesome dogs, Tonya! And I love their names -- Otter Jicama Potter is my favorite!

I have Racey Casey and Princess Isabella Beast, which does not roll off the tongue quite so well. :-) We call her Bella.

Speaking of which, is this a feature common to dog owners everywhere? Giving your dog the OPPOSITE of a nickname, something descriptive that's much longer than your dog's original name? Like, PIB's real name is just Isabella. The rest (there are actually several versions, that one's just the most common) has evolved over time. Your dogs' names kind of reminded me of the same thing.

And I think I just found an obscure talent! :-)

oh, thanks all for sharing -- I have another year to wait until I can get my dog, although I do refer to my "future puppy" quite often. Meanwhile, i'll just have to be content to ogle everyone elses!
