There are cats all over my neighborhood and they DIG in my flower bed before they CRAP! P*sses me off!!  I spend moola and time to plant the stupid flowers just to have a cat pull them out.  So I sprinkle the flowers with cayenne pepper. Sniff that cat!

Who are these people that let their cats roam the neighborhood? Are they strays? I thought the outdoor cat thing was only something people did in the rural areas. I would be afraid to let my cat outside, but then again my cat would be afraid to go outside.

I don't disagree with the whole cat on a leash thing necessairly, but as someone who has been bitten by an unleashed dog (owner was near by, proclaiming he wouldn't bite me) I do think dogs should be leashed. Even though people (like Jen and Josh) do a good job training their dogs, when I'm out on a public sidewalk or trail I just don't know you, your dog, or what that animal might do.  This might make me unpopular, but a rant of mine is running in public areas where people don't feel the need to have their animal on a leash, i've been chased, and/or bitten too many times.

I wholeheartedly agree with dog leash laws!!! Dogs off leash, YIPES! I see how dogs can cause MUCH more bodily harm than cats so it makes sense for a bigger push for dog leash laws. I have a friend in Maine who lives in a town without leash laws and tells me there are big scary dogs that just roam the streets and attack her dogs when she is out walking, she carries a tazer! CRAZY!!!

As for cats, some are strays in my neighborhood but some have collars.

My dogs are trained?! HA HA HA! Trained not to bite people, yes, otherwise they are WILD animals.

Sorry you have been bitten, that is awful!

Apparently I would much rather play around on BT today than actually get work work done, so i'll post a silly rant.

We have free coffee at work= good, but it really annoys me that the coffee is really bad. I can't figure out why, no matter who makes it, it always tastes horrible. I think i've been spoiled by starbucks. I'm spoiled, I know, complaining about free coffee.

OKAY, silly rant over. Now I will attempt to actually get some work done.

I am economics teacher and require that my students know this acronym: TANSTAAFL

There Ain't No Such Thing As A Free Lunch!

The coffee that you are drinking must not be free because there is a cost involved (the cost to you is that you are drinking crappy coffee, the jack azz who is buying the crappy coffee is bearing the financial cost)-"trying to stay with the dog and cat crap theme of this thread".

Now if we can only get the govt. to realize the costs involved in their decisions! That's my rantYell

You know what really grinds my gears, people at work who are asked to fill out a simple spread sheet and blow it up into some big deal because they feel like they are going to be looked down on if they say they have a least strong relationship with a student. If you do not have enogh confidence in yourself that you have tried to form a good relationship and it just didn't happen then maybe you should look at some different options: grow a pair and just fill it out already, quit, or stop your b****ing. And that's is why people at work grind my gears back to you Tom(Tucker).

I almost ran over a dead cat in the bike lane during my ride today. It kind of pissed me off because it should have died in the street.

today: Rosie Perez's voice....I suppose this is a little shallow of me. It's more of an annoyance than something that pi$$es me off, but I was flipping through the channels and stopped at Whit Men Can't Jump. Even if I was interetested in watching, her voice just grates my spine.

People who drive exactly 55mph in any lane but the slow lane.  They seem to delight in the fact that everyone is backed up behind them while trying to get to work.  This kind of passive-aggressive, or completely stupid behavior makes me wish we could install a canon on the front of our cars.

Really? The slow lane? Which lane is that? I didn't know there were different speed limits for different lanes. Is there a sign somewhere indicating this? What an astonishing revelation.

What really grinds my f*!$ing gears is when I'm doing 60 in a 55, and I've got some yahoo that is sitting 10 feet off my back bumper weaving back and forth in the lane while he looks for a way to get around and ignore yet another traffic law. Or the jackazzes that sit in "the fast lane" until the last possible second, then careen across 4 lanes of traffic to try to make their exit.

If you do 60 mph average, and you have a 30 mile commute, it'll take you 30 minutes. At 70mph, it'll take you ~ 20 minutes. Maybe someone should leave the house 10 minutes earlier?

Yeah, this is a sore point. Run ambulances for a few years and see and pick up the carnage that drivers create doing all this shyte and your opinions will undergo a radical shift.

So how fast does everyone drive?

With all the new speed cameras, I have heard they only catch you at 10 above.

I do about 6 above consistently, that is where I set my cruise. But I tend to follow a "flow of traffic" rule. I drive with the flow of traffic, feels safer to me that way. That seems to be anywhere from 5-7 above. I used to do consistently 10, before speed cameras, so I guess that is one good thing they have done (other than send me tickets for cars that are not mine)...

Which leads me to..

TODAY: You know what gets me? The speed cameras that auto send you a ticket for a car that is not yours BUT ADOT will happily WRITE in a license plate number just to make money off of you in case you might be THAT stupid to not look closely and realize "wait I dont have a car that has a sticker on the back with three little kids" HMMM...

LOL!!  You've GOT to be kidding!

I think you have your answer to why some "yahoo" is sitting on your bumper all the time.

Really? Point to the traffic law that states the speed limit is different in different lanes. Go ahead.

And I know why the "yahoo" is sitting there, because he feels his personal agenda is more important than rational, safe and legal driving.
