Ride three done -- 40 minutes. I'm building up more endurance and patience. It wasn't as miserable as the first ride this week. Laughing

Way to go everyone!!!

I hope we all have our trainers in a good place. I set mine up right in the family room off to the side so I can watch tv with my family. I definately would struggle if I kept it in the garage or some place where I was looking at a wall. I also have it rigged that I can watch my computer screen too.. I watch certain shows on hulu, or bike videos..

That helps a lot.

wgraves7582 - 2012-12-07 5:44 AM Got another commute in today - 3 done - #4 is going to be wet - going to be a wet weekend in The Buff this weekend - maybe I will go to the Y and ride an exercise bike -

Yeah, right  !!!

As for me

Blew off riding the trainer last night, sat and enjoyed the "delayed" Bronco game and made fudge instead.

so I have 2 rides left this week (and 2 runs for that matter)

Even though the Thanksgiving to New Years only has a mile minimum, I am glad I didn't join that one.  While I know I improve on 5+ runs a week, I feel best capping at 4.

Yes. I have mine in the back of the living room, behind the couch (we have a huge living room). It helps to be around people. My little guys can check the time for me and grab my water or a towel. :-) I just watch TV. Although last night the boys were watching a Christmas video off of youtube. Our TV is also Hulu and Netflix capable. That helps a lot.

Great job Mike!!! Good luck on your distance. Riding with a group?

Today was my 5th of the week. I need to go out and do a run but I'm procrastinating.

Got ride number 3 this morning.  Ended up spending 45 minutes on some single track and 1:19 overall.

Plan is to finish up ride #4 tomorrow on the trainer (regretting blowing off trainer time during the Thursday night football game this week.

Way to go Felicia!

Today I am planning a brick for ride one of the week.

These challenges are great motivators for sure.

Hi everyone! I got in my 4th ride for last week on Sunday outside, then got in my first ride for this week on the trainer this morning. I'd actually meant to do this morning's ride on Saturday, but I just started doing lunges at the gym on Thursday and I was still in too much pain from that to even think about biking! At least I got it in. Now to get in all of my planned rides for this week!

Snuck in my fourth ride last night on the trainer.  Just doesn't seem to be enough hours in the day or days in the week!

Unfortunately, I was the opposite last night.  I was sitting staring at the Packer game, staring at my bike on the trainer and could not get myself to change and spin for 30 minutes.

Next week will be better.

Don't beat yourself up too much, we've all been there where it's just too much energy to get on the trainer, even when it's staring you down. Looks like you're still getting in a lot of workouts in general though!

Took the day off today, so planning on hopping on my trainer this afternoon for my second ride of the week. May even try a short run too after two weeks off for an injury that I'm hoping has cleared up. Keep up the great work everyone!

45 minutes on the trainer with Dennis Quaid and Aiden Quinn. I think I'm in love with a new show. Quinn has been a heart throb of mine for a long, long time, and Quaid is not hard on the eyes either.
