KKK and NBP are the same thing.

Wow, just wow.

They're not? Both are hateful organizations that serve absolutely no purpose but to promote racism in this country. An official poll watcher wearing the NBP beret is the same as some klan member wearing his pointy hat while serving as a poll watcher.

No, they're not. Not even close. You're missing a huge chunk of historical context.

Oh, so the one with the longest history of being racist a-holes is by default evil and the other not? We're talking apples and apples here.

Again I say wow, just wow.

We'll just have to disagree on the definition of racism.

Here's an interesting take on the NBP from the BP website - http://www.blackpanther.org/newsalert.htm .

Have a nice day.

Sounds like a great group of guys

Just left the Roxborough Y in Northwest Philly.
It's a poll.

The river wards in Northwest Philly often go Republican, one of the few areas in Philly that do,
and tend to trend with the northern suburbs in Montgomery County.

The poll worker said turnout was very high. Over 50% as of 2:00pm.
He said that was much higher than he remembers in 2008.

Take that for what it's worth.

depends on your state.  i had to show a government issued photo ID and confirm my address.  even with that, i know a friend who showed up to vote with his DL and was told that he had already voted today, and had to vote a provisional ballot.  i think ID should be necessary (i don't understand any of the anti-ID arguments) but it's still not perfect.
