What book(s) are you reading now? (Page 3)

I really like them, she's got a well-realized worldview, although they are fairly light reading material, generally.  Then again, I like a lot of fantasy fiction.  I have about every one of these though, I could lend them to you if you'd like.

Have you read his pseudo-posthumous book, "The Last Salmon of Doubt"? Nice read.

As far as HHG sequels, I've read them all.

If you want something totally hilarious, try anything by Patrick F. McManus.  He writes about hunting and fishing, outdoors type things mainly, and they are laugh out loud funny.  His cast of characters, including one individual by the name of Retch Sweeney, are priceless.

Another one who makes me laugh, juvenile fiction, Hank the Cowdog author, John R. Erickson.  He tells these stories about Hank from Hank's point of view.  "As Head of Ranch Security I had to always be on my toes..."  they are even better as books on tape, because the author reads them.

On the more English Humor side, PG Wodehouse is so worth it.  He took me a little bit to get into but man, his descriptions of golf and completely clueless people who nevertheless save the day are great.

I just went to Barnes and Noble during lunch and bought "The Six Wives of Henry VIII"

I read/have A Widow for One Year and the DVD of the movie "The Door In The Floor". The movie was very well done. Haven't read his recent release yet but it's on my list. Irving is my favorite along with Garcia Marquez.
