I'm racing on Sunday the 21st, so this weekend won't work, but I'd be interested in getting a group out there next weekend (27th/28th)... maybe even do the mini-tri thing. Only issue there is we'd have to work out a deal with the gate guards so we don't get charged $5 to get back to T2.

Ain't gonna happen, doc !

April drove to and from the shore and James and I left our cars in the park.  They would NOT let her back in w/ out paying just to drop off us at our cars (we rode in, which wasn't a big deal).

It was bureaucracy at its finest --- rules and regulations that could not be bent regardless of how ridiculous they were applied.

I'm up for trying swimming again and doing a ride afterwards.  I have a road race early Sat. so I can do later in the day Sat. or anytime on Sun.

I'm racing this weekend as well. I'm volunteering for the Baltimore Women's Classic on the 28th but I'm in for the 27th.

If we ride back into the park we may not have to pay.

Id be up for the 27th.  We should try and find a ride around the Sandy point area so we don't have to drive other place.

The Annapolis Tri course is a route from there (~24 miles) that can be extended up the trail if you want (which, personally, I wouldn't recommend).  If we did that, I'd probably ride down to the swim from my house then do the course.  Otherwise, I'd prefer going to the eastern shore to get in a nice long ride.

I'm in unless my friend actually comes through on camping that weekend (the 27th... I can't make it this weekend either).

I'm in for the swim on the 27th, and possibly the bike, though biking on Ritchie Highway sounds nuts. No swim for me this weekend.

Saturday the 27th is great for me!  The earlier the better.  I have a brand new wetsuit just waiting to get wet.

I like early also but some of the kids around here think 8:00 is too early.

I like 8, and I'd even do 7:30. Those who don't like it can organize a later group.

Hi!  I'd be one of those kids.  But I can work something out and try to get up that early.  Considering weekends are my time to sleep in usually (even only sleeping in is 830) it is a great thing to do.

Ditto for me!  The 27th at 8:00 am will do fine.  Is there a specific meeting point?

27th at 8:00am is cool with me.  From the looks of it April and Trishie are the only people interested in going this weekend?  Is there anyone else interested in this weekend?  I think the time they agreed on was 11:00am for this Saturday the 17th.

Oh, and you can bike back into Sandy Point Park for free.  I've done it many times.  You don't have to even acknowledge the bureaucratic gate guards. Tongue out  (The $5 is to pay for the parking lot usage)  Check out their website if you beg to differ.

I see some isolated T-storms on the forecast for next weekend... hopefully they're wrong.
