Is it too late to get on a team?

If not I'd be in for 200 min of running and 300 mins of swimming.

Moreland007 - please PM the Grey Teams Captain.

Great Challenge - think you said it was ok to still enter.

Working out my numbers at the weekend so may tweak slightly but please put me down for:

SWIMMING   - 18,000 yards

RUNNING - 8 hours

No idea if these are realistic for me but time will tell and will certainly give me the motivation that I need at the start of the year.

Hey, any chance I can get in on this?  I see it's still open til tomorrow.

My goals would be...
Run 100 miles
Swim 10,000 yards

Don't know what team would wanna pick me up.

Totals so far this month...
Run - 3.1 miles
Swim - 550 yards

I have two marathons and one 50K ultra scheduled, so I'm not worried about my run goal.  I'll have no problem swiming 10,000 yards either, since when I'm not running, swimming will be the only thing I want to do.

Boy, how did I miss this one?  Cut-off still tomorrow?

Can I still get in on this one?

16 hrs of running
only 6500 yds swimming (spending the rest of my time training for a half mary).

(edit)To date:
1.3 hrs running
1600 yds swimming

Just let me know what color team still can take participants.

Thanks...

New Team Added

We've had so many people join that I felt it best to start a new team rather than making the other teams too large (becomes time consuming for the captains to work out the weekly totals and a challenge to keep the spreadsheets small enough to post).

So please welcome Team PURPLE.  Those people who posted above to join a team but hadn't been assigned a team as of yet have been assigned to this team (with the exception of Chipit Muffin who I've added to Team Green).

I've notified each of these people through an Inspire on their Training Logs - I need one of them to volunteer to be Team Captain.

Please review the attached spreadsheet and let me know if any corrections are required or if I missed anyone!

Good Luck,

Steve

Hi iceit99,

To be in these Challenges we'll need you to allow others to view your training log.  I've sent you a PM explaining how to do this.  Please PM me back when you have done so and I will then assign you to a team.

Regards,

Steve

LETS KEEP IT UP TEAM RED!!!!

It's been a crazy work schedule this week but I'm not slackin'!! Persistance will pay off, just don't hit the snooze button!!

For anyone looking for swimming drills, and your goal is minutes of swimming and not yds of swimming, try sculling!! It's a great way to develop feel and balance in the water and will improve how efficient you are in the water!!

I am open to any running tips or secrets to stay on track!! I'm starting to enjoy it a little but would rather be on my bike!!

 GO RED!!!
