Morning all-

Ran 3.3 miles on the treadmill this morning...only 6.7 miles to go for the week...I may fall a little short this week, but will make it up before the end of the month.

Hope everyone has a great day!

I had a great run this morning, my best run in a long while. Best of all, it gets me a Blitzen point!

Good morning team.... Again I am stuck in my usual mind games.... Go outside to run tonight or just go on the treadmill.... I think I will end up on the treadmill again, because I am a wuzz and I don't like to run in the cold and the darkness....  Also tonight, some Salsa dancing.... And before that I have to organize a cake... One of my friends is moving back to Germany for good by the end of the month and this will be her "last dance" around here....

So on tab for today as soon as work is done: 1 running session, organize a cake and maybe some ballons and then some Salsa...

A run is still a run whether it's treadmill time or not.  This time of the year you've gotta take what you can get!

The dates are at the top of the spreadsheet. It is actually through Friday mostly because I like to be difficult, but also because it made for fuller weeks at both ends. So get those results posted!

Great that you could get out there and brave those terribly low temperatures!

All kidding aside, great run Paul!

Speaking of the spreadsheet, we've got 4 team members who haven't logged a thing yet including one who hasn't even stated a challenge goal. Please, if you've done the work, log it so that you and we get credit for it.

I like running when its cold !    I did my ten mile PR when it was 19F.

What cracks me up here is LALA land is the folks walking dogs at 7am wrapped up like its -20F .  LOL

Speadsheet wise :

No problem i logged on my miles . I am just "bitchin and moanin" cause i get my   mileage on the weekend.  And week 1 does not include a weekend day.   Just Sayin .....

Yes its pretty much singlet and shorts weather  year round .

I did run with  ski gloves for the first 30 mins  last saturday .  Was  still dark  and about 40F.

You know ....bitterly cold .

I did a 30 mile ride today; 28F when I went out, 33F when I finished. Compared to my last cold ride, today my body was colder overall but my hands and feet were warmer and my core got less sweaty, so overall I was more comfortable today.

Hello, hello, hello Reindeer!!!

It's the moment you have all been waiting for, anxiously hitting repeat all weekend long, in tense anticipation of....

RESULTS: THE FIRST WEEK
It was a short one, getting into the swing of things and getting used to that wonderful winter weather. Reindeer are happier when it is colder, right? With 16% of the month over, the standings are:
1st: Vixens at 16.93%
2nd: Dancers at 14.51%
3rd: Comets at 12.11%
4th: Blitzens (Blitzii?) at 11.67%

Now some of you have noticed that a teammate may not have a goal stated. In fact, on three of our four teams, we have a slacker member lagging behind. While I've PMed them, if you happen to be chattin' 'em up, let them know that they are at 0% for the standings and dragging their team down. Oh, and congrats to the Blitzii, whose team is all on the ball in that regard.

Get those workouts done, get them logged, and don't let your limiter this month stare you in the face for months to come!
