Sorry I disappeared last night.  It was Andy's birthday and we went out for a drink with some friends. 

My knee is a lot better.  The cortisone started working.  I'm still having some catching and popping under the knee cap, so it does sound like it's a combination of ITB and maybe something with my patella.  I go to PT next week for more exercises and back to the ortho doc in a few weeks.

It is cold!!!

I know that some of you are experiencing colder weather, but this isn't fun...especially when you don't dress for it.

It is 32 degrees and foggy.  the cold goes right through you.  

It is amazing how much of a difference 3 degrees can make-I was fine for my tuesday morning run, but I froze today.  It added more than a minute to my mile splits.

Got off of work early, eating lunch, and then taking 5yo up the mtn for a few runs on the free lift!!!!
It's a beautiful balmy 40 degrees outside   (I'll duck while y'al throw things at me   )

I am hanging out at school for a while trying to get some stuff done.  I am going to get my pushups in too.  I think that I will go out for some mexican today.  I am super hungry and I am yet to have a sit down meal this year.

I'll take my midwestern cold weather back if the artic promises to take it's cold weather back. 

I left work at 1am and it was -15F.  I didn't think my car was going to start.  I turned the key and...silence.  It was about 5 seconds before it even attempted to turn over.  Crazy cold.

That's fair.  I'm totally willing to blame Canada. 

My car did not start at all this morning.  It's a diesel and it solidified in the fuel lines.  Joy.  I drove Andy to work this morning and my poor car is sitting outside.
