Busy day at work and internet problems at home. Oy!

I did a trainer stand bike ride this morning. Boring.

It's looking like it's gonna be a cold morning run tomorrow. Brrr.

Glad you got your coaching plan Kristin. Nice job on the bike and run today!

Hope your internet issues are fixed now Nicole. Nice job on the trainer ride, and I agree they are dreadfully boring. How's your wrist?

I got in a 3 mile run and a 2300yd swim today. This weekend is going to be kinda tough though as I'll be traveling back to Kalispell on Friday for the weekend. It's about a 7 hour drive each way, and then lots of family obligations once I get there so scheduling training will get a little tricky.

G'morning team!

I had a slow start to the month but I've started to pick up speed.

Happy Thursday!

I was scheduled to run this morning but it was 12F and windy so I went swimming instead. I ended up with a lane all to myself so obviously it was meant to be. It was a good swim.

I'm hoping that tomorrow morning will be better for running. Saturday it's supposed to get into the 50's so I'll be doing a ride. Crazy weather.

Roni, there's no obvious improvement yet in my wrist. I've gotta give it some time. I'm icing it as we speak.

Hello everybody! Got another run in today. I am feeling pretty good about the half mary coming up in a few months. I still can't believe I am really doing it, though. I logged, but haven't been over to the spreadsheet yet. I will get there, but probably not today because I am running errands, babysitting, and then working tonight. And I know that when I do go into the spreadsheet, I have to stop and enter n my goals for the  month while I'm there. I promise I'll do it before Sunday.

Hope everyone has a good day!

Hey guys. I finally swam. The pool was packed, ugh. I also did a pilates session so another strength for me! Nice work everyone, looks like we're doing a good job sticking to our plans

Just got in from a 29 mile bike ride in 38 degree rainy weather... brrrr. Wasn't too bad except for my feet until the last 15' when it started to downpour. Ended up calling it a bit short, but I'll make it up on a nicer day

I'm traveling back home to Kalispell tomorrow morning, so not sure how much I'll get in this weekend but I'll do my best.

Nice training everyone!!!

This morning the temperature was about 20F with no wind; wasn't at all bad for running. Got in 3.4 miles at a fairly easy pace since my legs were tight.

It's supposed to get into the 50's tomorrow! w00t!

I got in a little treadmill 5K (blah) and another strength session with the pilates instructor. I love pilates, I hope my coach will allow me to continue it!

I've updated the spreadsheet to reflect my full month training plan. I had to do a lot of conversion and guessing because a lot of my training involves drills and intervals rather than distance and/or even solid times so I hope it's accurate. I can't deviate from the plan much if at all so if my math wasn't right I'll be in trouble

Got in 8.65 miles running, it was great. It's nice to be able to run in a single layer of clothing for once!

Oops. Sort of forgot about this challenge.  I did post the first week's worth of training and boy am I in trouble.  I've gotten in 15% of my swim goal and 42% of my run goal - and 4%, yes, lowly 4%, of my bike goal.  I have never missed a challenge, but this one is going to be a real, dare I say it, challenge.  I can blame a little of the low bike mileage on the rain.  I live in Southern California and we never expect rain and we just had two heavy days of the wet stuff.

I got another run in today. It kinda sucked, but I did it. Cold wet weather and my asthma don't mix well the tail end of a chest cold. I even updated the spreadsheet with my goals and everything! The spreadsheet isn't tallying my goals into percentages, though. Can someone fix that for me?

I'll be riding my new tri bike for the first time ever outside tomorrow and I have to admit, I'm really nervous. The last time I rode outside was in August when I had my accident and ended my season. It may take all year to be comfortable again, I have so much doubt about my bike handling abilities. I'm going to go super early so there will hopefully be no one on the streets. Fingers crossed!

Well I survived my inaugural ride on the new tri bike and my first ride since last fall. I rode close to 1.5 hours to get a feel for the bike and practice being in aero. I have to say it was a lot of fun, although a little scary. Little by little I'll get it back.

Hi,

My home internet is completely out; right now I'm at my MIL's using her connection.

I did a long ride yesterday, 41 miles, and a run this morning. We're in above average temperatures right now so it's been beautiful both days. I'm all up to date on the spreadsheet.

I've noticed that 3 of us have yet to log anything on the spreadsheet. jmk-brooklyn hasn't even said boo or anything but I see he's working out. I just poked him so hopefully he'll get his stuff onto the spreadsheet.
