Hey all. Everyone looks like they had a great weekend. Back to the grind again. I finally, finally got a swim in and I was the only one in the pool for most of it. I pretended that I was rich, this was MY pool and that person over there would serve me a rum drink when I was done. Ah, well, it was fun while it lasted!

Got my swim in this morning. Will skip the strength stuff tonight most likely, because of other stuff going on, hope to be able to do it tomorrow after spinning or Friday.

Hey Shamrocks. I am going to try to get my run in at lunch. I am in such a foul mood that I pity the folks who call me today.

Okay, here it is:

YELLLL !!!!

The pool boy was waiting patiently with your drink, too. I had to take it off his hands. I didn't want him to be upset.

Morning Shammies. I hope to get a sneak swim in today.. It will be lovely with the pool boy on stand by. An imagination is a great thing when doing repetiative stuff.

Have great days all.

thats funny...  i was thinking of that picture when i went swimming yesterday...  the pool i generally swim in has a soup and salad bar on the side of the pool...  and the guy that tends it has never brought me a drink at the pool...   i was thinking maybe he would yesterday - i was trying to act really thirsty... but no luck!!!

anyway...  got my 10 miles in on the treadmill this morning...  going to try to throw one or two bonus training sessions in today as my reward!!!

Long course at the pool  today

iTs good to get out there and get a  decent set in .  Pool was lovely with a 50m lane to myself for half the time  i was there .  Times  are A stressful with  pending layoffs and all ,  it helps me  a great deal to  sleep at night  when i get these sets in .   yeah BT .

St PAtrick  5k  Race on saturday morning , and yes i will be wearing a  neon green shirt

then i have to get into work .   Dang it !   there is a free master swim class  saturday morning  i really want to do

Looking at the other threads and highly officious of me to say here  but we are looking to be in the lead . Go Shammies  !!

Keep them solid workouts coming , you will feel better and you will perform better at your next race (s) .

Hi Shammies! Sorry I've been scarce around here. I've been scrambling to get my long workouts and as much of my training done as possible this week before the weekend. I'll be traveling home to Kalispell, MT tomorrow and have company coming, so I don't expect to get much done over the weekend. I did get my 4 hour bike in... on the trainer! It was dreadful and I now have saddle sores, but it was an incredible lesson in mental toughness. I also will not complain nearly as much about those 1 hour trainer rides now

I' m running my 20 miler this afternoon, and then plan to do a lot of rest and recovery this weekend

Great training everyone!!!

Hey Shammies. I got a 2 hr. drainer ride in today followed by a 3 mile run. ...then I went to work

This weekend I am getting together with some BTers to do a 50 mile ride ...which is not on the plan...but will put me way over my minutes. I see first place on the horizon!!!!
