I think I am going to go with 8,000 yds. (I might be able to do more BUT our pool will be closed a couple of times during the month.)

I'm in.  I was part of the first Girls vs Boys back in 2005 ( nov or dec I think).    We (the boys) lost.  The pool is close until the beginnig of May.  I'm planning on ramping up my swimming now that the kids winter sports are finished.

Goal  = 26,000m

Thanks, I desperately need the push as I've lost my groove and am having to fake the funk!

Looks as if the boys need to stop this challenge.... these girls are getting a little bold in thinking they can actually beat us. Since I do enjoy a nice feminine ASSATAR... I think I need to join in this challenge. (I've also been slacking off in the water lately, time to pick it up and get back in the water.

If I follow my plan religiously... and I wish I could. I will need to be in the pool 3x a week in May. My first tri is the last weekend of May (possibly) and I want to knock that one out of the park. So... lets get wet.

Goals:

28000 m - 10 hrs ... with a minimum of 4 OWS's. I'm going to get wet AND cold this year.

This is my first challenge in a long time, but I need this. It is also the 2 year anniversary of my FIRST ever challenge... and as I've never LOST a challenge... I do believe you ladies are going DOWN!!!

Nuh-uh...bring it on.

I am in. Perfect timing for a swim challenge. My tri swim classes are over by the end of this month and I will need some motivation to keep up the swimming routine.

GOAL 8 HOURS

And I will work my butt off, so I don't have to display an assatar... Just the thought of saying "Honey, can you pls take a picture of my butt in a bathing suite... I lost a BT challenge"... Not going to happen!

I'm in with a goal of 12 sessions in the pool...  Hopefully the shoulder holds out so I'm not sandbagging my team...  :-)

Okay... count me in...
I had to bag challenges this month due to craziness, but next month I HAVE to get back in the pool...
I will get my goals in soon... gotta plan out the fmly calendar on the dry erase board, see what's reasonable and then get with "coach"/co-worker to set plan....

THANKS YANTI!!!

Hmm...I'm really struggling trying to figure out my goal for the month. Right now coach has me doing 4500-5000 yards a week. But I'm not sure how many I'll be logging when I join masters next month. I think I'll probably start around 15,000yds and then up it from there based on the plan that Masters follows.

Imagine what it would be like for us single girls... who do we ask to take the photo? Im not sure I really want to walk up to a strange man and ask them to take a picutre of me in lycra!

No kidding, especially since I just got my first pair of "Jammers" as apposed to the normal board shorts I have been swimming it...  And let's face it, no one wants to see that...

I've been wondering about this too.  My brother is my roommate so there's something innately wrong with asking him to take a picture of my butt in spandex.  Maybe my camera has a timer.........
