Now that our semester is over, I have a bit more freedom until the end of the month. Then it will probably get crazy again with summer school.

Went well, got in a bit over 5 miles. It's been quite hot here, and I need to get used to the hotter temps. Probably need to start carrying water again.

OK! I give up!Embarassed

Can't figure this out. Tried making various tables, in different places, pasting them, but the image doesn't come, tried some other stuff too. Can't make it work. If anyone has instructions as to how to make a table with an image for the background I would love to see them!

I fought with rain and a pool closure butr got in a respectable sswim and a shorter ride than I wanted.  It's all good.  That Century will be most of my ride time anyway...

just a quick fly by to say HI!

HI!!!!!

a wonderful day today in the CITY OF BRIDGES.  the 20th running the PGH marathon went off wout a hitch.

our 4 person team did well.  4:09:39 was our final time.

i did 1:02:17.

theres some conflicting info as to exact distance of my relay leg.  online it says that it was 6.1 miles, but in the relay handbook that we got the week of the race it had me at 6.7.  [it felt like 6.7 and not 6.1]

so, if its 6.1 my pace was good

if it was 6.7 my pace was great.

i gave myself a pace inbetween and im calling it day.

either way, i wracked up lots of minutes for the MULTISPORT CHALLENGE.

62.17 MINS + 62:17 MINS = 124.34 MINS  {thats how we do it for race days right???}

i did a 9 min 1 miler w my boys (i cheated and cut the corner to catch up to them...we actually ran it in 8:40, so im giving myself 9 mins....)

and then i did a 20 min swim saturday morning.

starting to see those minutes add up, already.

every little bit counts.

hope everyone is enjoying a pleasant Sunday evening.

FROM THE BURGH.

I had a good run yesterday (even though it was raining on me) and I swam this morning.  Looking forward to a trainer ride tonight (it's still raining) to stay on track.

I hope everyone had a great weekend!

^^^ damn weather indeed miss blujay.

get a new bike and the weather is CRAPOLA.  plfffft.
  :P
its a back at it week.

begin final prep/trng for my full sprint on the 17th.

i need to get to the pool today, my youngest is home from school sick.  poor baby.  pooped from handing out apples, oranges, water and gatorade to all the marathon runners yesturday.  stuffy nose and cough.

im thinking ill head up when my husband comes home from work.

itll feel great to be in the water after yesturdays day run.

i did confirm that i ran 6.7 miles, not 6.2.  so my i had the great race pace.

yeah me.

im hoping to go up next week to where my Sprint Tri is being held to swim the pool and ride the course.  its always a confidence-booster to go in feeling prepared, huh?

as for the bike pics, i havent mastered posting pics to the thread.  im a complete moron when it comes to that....but here's the link to the bike i bought.
