Good morning!  I'm down another half pound this morning!!  I've been losing a half pound a week pretty steadily since the beginning of May, so at least I'm makes some progress and getting closer to goal Smile

I've forgotten where I was last week, but my goal by the end of May was 187 lbs, I think. That number appeared on my scales on Monday morning, June 1, though I'm not quite sure it's a reproducible observation.

This morning, my scales alternately read 185.5 and 188.5. Regardless of the true weight, I have eaten well this week, and I got in the following exercise:

Wed - 45 min. bike; 4 miles elliptical; 1 mile row
Thu - 3 mile run; 3 miles elliptical; 1 mile row
Fri - 45 min. bike
Sat - 6 mile run; 90 minutes kayaking
Sun - 120 minutes kayaking
Mon - 4.3 mile run; 30 minute bike
Tue - REST
Wed (today, so far) - 5.2 mile run

Lunchtime is my usual swim hour, and life at work has been crazy for the last two weeks and will continue to be so for the next two, so swimming will have to wait.

yippee, another kilo of my holiday belly gone - down 2.2lbs to 134.2.  Found it hard to not do a victory dance when I got of the scales but the other gym users might have thought I was a bit strange.

Started at 192 and today 188.  Laying off the carbs though had some KFC with a salad last nite.  Tsk... tsk... shoulda just stayed away from the KFC!  But who can resist?!?!  Haha...

Put me in at 149.8 today. (It was 148.2 when I was dehydrated after my run, but we'll go with the bigger number.)

Back below athena, but a long way from where I should be. Must keep plugging away.

Enders, I'm with you on needing to track everything, especially on the bad days. Usually as soon as I start eating badly I stop tracking and that's exactly when I really NEED to track.

Hello all!

Love the Hotel Calif. reference. I'll be singing that to myself every time I think "the hell with it, I'm just going to eat what I want and be fat". I WILL regret it and just be back to work it off.

I keep maintaining which is a waste of time when I could be moving forward.

Have been about 167.5 for a couple of weeks. Today I'm 171.5 (must be water as I was 167.5 yesterday) soooo

June 1 - 167.5
Goal - 159.5

training - just beginning - want to be doubling my distances by end of month (modest goals).

Goal for the month is going to stay the same (175), but I would be thrilled to just maintain. Haven't really done much in the training dept, so I can't really complain.

This morning at 176.4, last 177.6 so: -1.2 for the wk.

Seems I've been toggling between 176 and 178. I'm just thrilled that I've been sub-180 for this long, since it took me nearly a yr and a half to get out of the 190's, and with summer fast approaching, maybe I can continue to maintain or lose that Xtra 1.4 by sweating it out at work.

Other news: School is about done, only have 5 days left, till I get my second degree (Psychology Emphasis). Grades so far: 2 A's and a C. The C is in computer programming (Visual Basic), and the teacher isn't very good. The class has pretty much been left to fend for itself and teach eachother. But even with the C, my GPA will be higher this qtr than last qtr. 3.333 vs. 3.0, so I guess I'm ok with it. I just hope I don't start gaining once school is over.

Also, next wk (the 12th, day after my final school day), I'm going on a work-related vacation... My parents and I are going to my sisters' in New York (about 30 min from the city) to do a remodeling job in her bathroom (she just bought a new condo). But it won't be all work... Somewhere in the wk and a half we'll be there, we are going to travel to the city to catch a broadway show (SHREK!), so good times.

I weighed myself this morning BEFORE working out because I wasn't sure when that would happen.  I was nicely surprised that the scale said 145.4!!! Hoping to do something tonight but not sure.  I'm trying to get the final touches on McFuzz's signs for his IM.  Still lots to do before departure next Friday!

I am back to what I weighed before I got pregnant with my second baby, so when I went shopping today for a dress to wear to a wedding next month, I just assumed I would be in the same size as before I got pregnant too. Nope!! Had to go down two sizes (or is it only one because they only size in even numbers??). Felt pretty good!

Thats what I keep saying Jenna,  The scale is a gauge, but how you feel, look and that baggy butt in your pants is the REAL THING!!

ahh wrong place for me to comment (started a new thred instead of replyed) lol 2nd time around... can i still join?? im Veronica and my initial weight is 250 and my goal weight is 240 for this month... I am extermly new at this and i have just set my goal at next summer to do my first Tri. any help with weight loss would be great
