Hey everyone!  I'm James.  I'm just getting back into triathlon training.  I did Ironman Canada in 2007 and basically sat on the couch and got fat for the past 2 years.  Racing short course next summer is the goal so I'm just trying to build up my base in preparation for next season. 

I'm going to be out of town for about a week at the end of the month but I factored that into my goals.  I'm heading out on a week long paddling trip in Northern British Columbia.

Please encourge me to work at event 4 - Losing Weight.  I was down near 210 and rebounded back up towards 230

SO far I have gotten in 1 bike and 1 swim work out.  Swimming was 400 yards with no legs, just pulling with arms.  Tiring!

Hi team!  I'm Dena.  Looking forward to kicking butt with all of you for our August challenge!  Got in a 24.8 bike ride Saturday and did the Muddy Buddy yesterday (which was a blast, but wont account for all that much mileage in the logs!)  I think we definitely need a team name or theme.  Any additional ideas?  BTW, today and tomorrow are crazy, so I won't be getting in my workouts (although I can still fit in my fourth goal of stretching ... which I hate.)  But after that I will be going strong!

Good job todd The heat is not much a problem when swimming I guess  


HEats definitely causes my running to slow and actually makes me not want to even swim.  So Great Job Todd...

Welcome James..  Met an older gentlemen at my last sprint, that had done IRONMANS, had the tatoos to show it.  He was barely able to finish a super sprint.  But he was there working.  Just keep going one day at a time...  Good job
