Kiefer Swim shop has a location in Plano not far from the race site. There is also D&J Sports in north Dallas, but I can't remember if they're open on Sundays.

Check out the word order - pink girly swim caps - pink in a girl nature like with flowers or patterns, etc;  not girly pink swim caps which implies all pink stuff is girly...

I have my floaties ready!

Just make sure they are pink - there seems to be a trend working here...

Also, does anyone know if this race is a cannon-ball start?

253 for a 4:50??? Um, did you ask where they started? I put 6:00 so that may make my number 600 lol.

I am going to cross my fingers that maybe lower numbers were for the kids race beforehand and there are not reallllly that many people in front.

That sounds jacked up!  Luckily I believe it is 50m lanes - everyone swimming the same direction in a lane - should make it easier to pass than on the 25yd lanes with people going both ways in a lane...

I'll try and find out the starting number for this year. Last year they started at 101 and the kids all had 1-100.

It is a 50m pool though so passing should be no problem.

As well, we start in the deep end, so the cannonball start should definitely be considered.

I'm number 68. Should be an interesting swim. Unfortunately I had to put 5 minutes down, as I didn't know to put a period between numbers.

Yeah.

Number 350 for me.  Went to ride the bike course and broke at least one spoke on my rear tire.  Had to turn around and get it to the shop quick.  All fixed now with the new rim that had come in as well!
